That mini-copter model looks amazing, I loved seeing the process of making it! Incredible how even the smallest of details is given this much time and care! Cannot wait to see more of this project

Re: My Rayman 3 fan remake
This project keeps getting better and better! The NG skin looks awesome! Never expected that crossover
Also love the difficulty options, the menus, and the RayMurf skin. Maybe someone could add a Tily skin, I know that everyone would like that
I know I probably sound like a broken record at this point, but this project keeps getting better and better!

"This video has been removed for violating YouTube's Terms of Service"...what?
I just checked out the demo. I enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to future updates since Rayman 3 is my second favorite Rayman game.

Re: My Rayman 3 fan remake
That's weird.
Re: My Rayman 3 fan remake
I haven't played the demo yet, but I think I will. I loved what I saw of this project at Rayman Alive! This is what an official remake should look like, faithful yet modern (unfortunately I have a feeling the current remake project will look nowhere near as good as this). The lighting and colors are spot-on, and I like the little details such as how previously static environment elements like climbable vines now move a bit as Rayman touches them.
Probably the most impressive thing to me was how well designed and modernized the UI looks. I love the additions you made such as displaying more of the collectibles in the UI, segment times... very impressive!
EDIT > Played it and loved it. Really incredible, aside from looking very nice it even plays well, and it even runs pretty smoothly on my older laptop! I couldn't figure out how to get to the secret gems in the last part of The Fairy Council 4 (with all the rubble falling) though, and then after that I found the text to press k for some gems and did just that. Surely the fairies would never troll anyone right? :') I also tried the 2 hard modes later but couldn't even progress past the first area in either one.
This has a surprising amount of depth for more hardcore players, well done!

Re: My Rayman 3 fan remake
Gotta echo what Droolie's said, you've made some neat QoL changes by having counters for the Matuvus and Tribelles, and I liked how the level scores are kept to the side to account for the lack of load times now, allowing you still see how you fare without impeding gameplay.
If I had one mild critique, and bear in mind this is a subjective thing, I do find the redesign for the Ludivs to clash a little with the more cartoonish look of other characters, while they still look cartoony, it doesn't necessarily fit the style of the other characters.

Re: My Rayman 3 fan remake
I was SO happy to see Rayman 3: Havoc Reignited during Rayman Alive, and happier to have a demo to try it! I already launched it several times!
And it’s so good! It takes me back to 2003, and it reminds me when I played the original game over and over to improve my score!
Graphics are gorgeous and full of details, even in areas you’re just supposed to cross without stopping. I really enjoyed walking in the small lake in front of the Council, under the light of this big moon with detailed craters!
It's SO nice to include multiple languages for menus and dubbing! My big thanks to all team! I tried the English and the French ones. It was kinda weird to see a version of Rayman 3 with lip-sync and character movements based on the English dub (the exact opposite of the original version), but French voices are mostly synchronized, except a few sentences cut at the beginning (for example when Murfy rushes toward André and when he sees André escaping the fairies room).
Almost no bug to report, the game runs correctly.
Sometimes it doesn't start with an endless black screen, sometimes it crashes with a fatal error when I try to start it. But when I click on the launcher again, it usually works.
I also had a freeze during a cinematic when André rushes toward Globox, and Murfy doing an endless T-pose on the pillar after the “Rayman 4 cutscene”.
Differences with the original game are enjoyable.
Additional Matuvus, new score system with different points to collect in each part and chronometer, more dangerous enemy attacks, falling stalactites... It adds some challenge even if you know perfectly the original game!
Score summaries and loading screens replaced by playable areas were neat, and add some explanation to original story like how Globox, André and Murfy reached the Heart of the World room (where you can die by jumping inside the Heart!
).
Options to change some gameplay elements like camera and how Rayman locks targets are pretty cool. Having the camera behind Rayman in the Piggybanks room changes everything!
Unfortunately, I could only try keyboard gameplay as I only have a "brandless" controller, I suppose game detects XBOX controller only.
Finally, the additional game modes were fun, though as Droolie said, only hardcore players will manage to complete them!
I couldn't pass the Raygnomes area in Time is Money, and only reached the river area in Absolute Havoc. Too many Slapdashes, Ninja Crabs... and evil snails!
Congrats for this demo and this amazing work, and all the best for the future of this fanremake!
(Way too long) PS: The "Classic Fairy" option is a nice answer for those who didn't liked the redesign of Mary Lou.
I like both personally.
Original Ludivs are cute with their round heads and "precious" manners, but I'm not disturbed to see among them a "nonconformist" one, with a more gothic style.
In fact, that's something I would expect to see in the 2003 Rayman 3, which had a coherent lore but also had this "teenage spirit" and liked to "deconsecrate" a little Rayman characters, with Sarcastic Murfy and Music Lover Teensies for example.
Now, some people didn't enjoy this kind of spirit in 2003, and there's still some in 2025. Some would say it's worst. But, hey, you can't please everyone (and shouldn't try to).
That said, I partially agree with Master concerning Ludiv style itself. The way they dress isn't a major issue, they can stay as they are, but they could be a little more cartoonish to fit with other characters. Like humans and humanoids we see in the Rayman series. Ly, Betina, UbiArt Princesses, etc...

Re: My Rayman 3 fan remake
Been trying to see if I could get this to run on my Steam Deck for funsies, alas, I'm not that well versed with Proton and Linux compatibility layers, so I may have to behave and stick to running on Windows.

Thanks ya'll. I'm super happy you enjoyed it <3
As for the steam deck, yeah, trough proton you can get it too run pretty well, like around 45 fps while still looking really good
