They absolutely will. Even if they're terrible, there's no conceivable way they could fail to make Disney billions of dollars (literally).

The parody of angry birds I don't know but at least i saw the trailer and it's pretty well done. Take a look at it if you have the time.

The main subject about Star Wars those last years is obviously Disney having now the rights and saying they will produce the next three movies, with a plot already made by LucasArts for them.

JJ Abrams is a thoroughly mediocre director, but with the original cast involved they should be watchable. Just think of them as sequels to Return of the Jedi rather than new instalments in what the Star Wars franchise has become.

I'm placing my bets on RNG-BL being a wide-eyed Tatooine farmbot who becomes R2-D2's student to learn the ways of ship repairs and become an astrodroid like its prototype before it. R2 is also a force ghost because suddenly this movie is about AI and robots having souls.

(My bets aren't very large.)

I wouldn't consider myself hardcore Star Wars, but I've followed them over the years, owned a light-changing lightsaber toy as a kid, that made sounds for when it hit things.

Seeing the VII trailer just makes me wish even more that SW ended after Return of Jedi and that nothing else was ever made. Except for maybe some video games.

Awwww sweet. I just had a useless plastic one for 12 quid. It meant the world to me.

I just want to have high-quality original versions of the OT...

Well I'm glad you're not in charge then :)

My belief is that there should be choice, even if people think the prequels were shit (I would fall into this category) I'd rather they were made than nothing. If people like them, great! If people don't then that's fine, they don't have to watch them. Same with Indy 4, I'd rather it was done better, but not be done at all? Nah, why?

I think that's a popular desire, it certainly wouldn't surprise me if Disney and Fox were to come to some mutually beneficial arrangement before VII releases.

One can only hope.

I'd like to see what Lucas originally had in mind for the ending of the Star Wars story - there were always meant to be a part VII through IX if I'm not mistaken.

It is acknowledged that at some point Lucas had in mind twelve episodes and prepared the entirety of the script for nine of them. He only managed to make six episodes, which is already a good thing, especially considering their level of quality (yeah, I know, many people didn't like the 2000 trilogy, but it is still quite good for a trilogy. Why are die-hard fans so die-hard?).

I'm really waiting for the next movie to be released. The teaser is quite awesome in my opinion. I found it to be closer to the original trilogy in terms of visuals and ambiance thant what I had expected...

Twelve? I was under the impression he created a full storyline that spanned nine books (episodes).

That's what I said: He thought about twelve books and only wrote nine of them.
