super mario galaxy 1 got Much better level desing,that Lubba is in the game,super mario galaxy 2 got a bad world map, Lubba is in the game, the space ship that looks like mario, super mario galaxy 1got much better bosses, Lubba is in the game and super mario galaxy 1 much harder to complete. Have i mentoined thet Lubba is in the game

I actually agree with that. SMG2 has nice level design overall, but SMG1 has lots of amazing levels that are pure fun to play through (Good Egg Galaxy, Space Junk Galaxy, Deep Dark Galaxy etc.). SMG2 have some of these as well such as Fluffy Bluff Galaxy and Throwback Galaxy, but it mostly has puzzle-based levels, which I personally don't enjoy that much.

I guess they make up for it with Yoshi though.

Super Mario Bros(NES) ,Super Mario Bros 2 , (NES)Super Mario Bros 3(NES) , Super Mario Bros The lost levels , New Super Mario Bros DS , New Super Mario Bros.Wii ,Mario Tennis Wii,Super Mario Galaxy 1 , Super Mario Galaxy 2 (finish 1 file),Mario slam basketball(DS)Mario & Luigi : Super Star saga (GBA) Super Mario Advance (GBA) Super Mario Advance 2(GBA) Mario & Luigi Partners in time (DS)Mario & Luigi Bowser's inside story(DS).

I like SMG2 MUCH more than SMG1.
In SMG2, we have that goron mario powerup. (or boulder, i don't care)
Much better level design and much, MUCH more stars.

In SMG1 we have those purple coins stars in IMPOSSIBLE levels like dreadnought galaxy and that other galaxy (i don't remember the names).
Where you need to be on a floating platform.

I need to continue my SMG2 when I have the opportunity. XD I still have Comet Badges and stars from "last" galaxy to catch, aswell I still must play the entire REAL last galaxy.

Holy cow, I finally was able to finish my Super Mario Bros from "Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition" for Wii. World 8 is a huge pain in the ass when you haven't got the Fire Flower!

WELCOME TO THE CLUB IM AT 8-1 for the 18 time (not because i beat it one of those time)

Lately I have been playing Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, and I still need to beat world D-4. To be honest, it was a joke being frustrated at World 8 in SMB, because some levels of TLL are really insane.

This topic is mario and mario only, so PLEASE stay on topic. With that said you can talk everything mario. What games you own, your favorite character, or mabye ideas for future mario games.

The new Mario game looks sucky.

Every Mario game from New Super Mario Bros. for DS and on has looked the same to me. (except for Super Mario Galaxy and 3D Land) I don't find Mario games worth buying anymore. :/

I own three Mario games. Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros. I think Mario games are really great fun, especially Galaxy 2, which turns your world upside down. It has so much imagination, weird stuff and much more. Same with SM64DS, its incredible and big for being a DS game. Its also the best remake i have played (after Rayman Revolution). I like Rayman more, but Mario comes the second.

When i bought Wii, i originally bought it for RO because i thought it wouldnt come for PC, however it did later so i didnt need RO Wii version. I decided to keep the Wii and play the newest great worldwide famous Nintendo titles, which i wasnt able to experience before that (I didnt have GC or N64), so i bought Super Smash Bros Brawl and Galaxy 2. Theyre great and worth to keep the Wii, instead of selling it.

An official Mario thread? As opposed to an unofficial Mario thread?
