As long as they play R3 on GOG and not PS3 or 360 they are fine

Yeah, it's a pity the HD remake was rubbish on most counts, probably the worst HD remake I know.

I think remakes of the trilogy are going to die out now. Their not what today's Rayman is and I don't think Ubi would want to confuse their current audience by suddenly throwing in Rayman 2 trough the new games.

Yet R3HD came out after Origins, so who knows? And there is also that Rayman Collection Em and OCG found.

Maybe it was more of a quick cash-in before turning Origins into a whole new thing. After all Rayman 3 is the closest to the new games as you can get since there's still humour in it and whatnot.

What exactly is that Rayman collection thing anyway? I haven't heard any news or announcements regarding the pack at all.

Outside of Revolution I can't think of any Rayman remake/port that doesn't have at least something bad about it. Whether it be glitches or ugly visuals, they never quite seem to get it right. It would be nice to see them one day put out a Rayman 2 that can compare to the Dreamcast game.

At least Rayman HD wasn't just another port of Rayman 2. It's nice to see a little variety, even if it is just another re-release, at least it's of a different game.

What is 'Rayman HD'? I'm aware of the collection, but I'm not currently able to watch those videos.

Wasn't Rayman 3 HD made by the same people who did Beyond Good and Evil HD? I heard that port was pretty good.

I think BadGuy refers to R3HD, the collection that Em and OCG found are just rereleases of past PC versions.
@SNU, I believe it was, I've heard the HD port was decent also, but blimey, did they screw up on R3.

The BG&E HD port was great, 100%ing it was a blast too.
Still it's hardly a substitute for the sequels that these games deserve. Here's hoping they happen eventually.

Rayman HD is not part of this collection.

Rayman 3 HD, they dropped the subtitle in the remake, for some bizarre reason.

Which is lame since Hoodlum Havoc sounds really cool.
Everything, even a title of HD remake is inferior

Hm, I think some HD remakes are well done, the Jak HD collection is very well done indeed, sans one bothersome graphical quirk in the Kor transforms scene.
