Neither.
I can't stand brocolli or peas though. And can anyone tell me why red cabbage is purple?

Re: What are you eating right now?
Like red onion, red cabbage is actually red when it's growing but like how a banana goes from green to yellow after being picked a cabbage goes purple as time goes on. I hate it in stir fry, but in salads I don't mind.

The person who found it must've been colour blind. And can anyone tell me why red cabbage is purple?
Re: What are you eating right now?
I can't stand onions! I'm unsure why, I suppose I just hate the taste.
Re: What are you eating right now?
I got used to them after cooking them in almost every single dish in home economics. I don't like how they make your eyes water though.

I like caramelised onions.
I know someone who ate an onion by itself.
It was in Food Tech, an dthe onion was better than what he'd cooked...

You can see the red in these can't you? It's the same pigment you find in red grapes.
LOL I heard that they were developing onions you could eat like an apple, but I never saw any on the shelves yet.

Now here's something I remember from my own science classes - some plants can change colour because of the pH in the soil they grow in.

This is the pigment I was talking about, you'll be surprised by just how many plants have this in it.

I've always wanted to get a white flower, cut the stem in two(not all the way up), and put each half into a seperate container filled with coloured food dye- the flower can then have one side pink then the other side blue ect.

Re: What are you eating right now?
We did something like that with daffodils, we made one lot orange by putting it in red dye, and another in blue dye that made it green.
Same thing with celery, it just comes to show how absorbent plants are.
There's a flower outside my nan's house that changes from blue to pink to purple, alternates, and then goes yellow as it dies away for the winter.

Re: What are you eating right now?
I've always wanted to water something like lettuce (no real flavour) with juice or lemo drink, and see if it affects the taste.
Re: What are you eating right now?
That would be nice actually. Apart from the fact you may be playing God with your frankenstine lettuce.
