Btw, how many episodes are there in the Rayman Animated series?

Only four viewable ones, there's a fifth we're aware of, but we only have sparse details about that one.

There are four of them, although 26 were planned to be done, and the 5th was in the works but ended up cancelled.

I have the 4 episodes plus the Making Of in English, French and German in my YouTube channel if anyone is interested.

Honestly, the show does not make any sense to me at all. I am not saying it's bad, but all the characters besides Rayman are weird. Even Razorbeard acts weird.

4. The LacMacNapping, No Parking, High Anxiety and Big Date were the episodes released, with a supposed 5th episode never seeing the light of day.

The animated series failed that badly? I figured it had at least a bunch of episodes based upon R2's big popularity.

Ever seen Sonic SatAM?
Though this is nowhere near quite as dark, I felt it could've gone somewhere, I don't really mind if its set in its own universe which is different to the one we know, much like SatAM, and I feel it's a shame it never got the opportunity to flourish.

On my ex VHS Cassette , several Ubisoft advertaisement (including Rayman 2), those 4 episodes and the Making of are included.

Reading from Wikipedia (aren't I awful?): The fifth, unfinished episode was to be called "My Fair LacMac," earning much fan speculation about the episode's content. This episode was almost done in production, but it had to stop at the last minute.

I'm really disappointed that the series bombed as badly as it did. I don't think it made any less sense than that of many other vg-related shows at the time...

No game-to-cartoon is as horrific as the Battletoads pilot. None.

It disappointed me a little that the production was stpped. The Series weren't that good in my opinion.

i heard the 5th was gona have mr.dark in it but he would of acted like an dumby like razer beard did or maybe have a big personalty change ether way i would of been upset at ubisoft and had a fit plus if he were dumb i would not play ubi games ever again

Hmm, I think it's more a case of never going into production, you know, when something is planned but never put through, though I can't say for sure, could someone confirm or dispute my words?

@Keane, as horrible as it is, I love Robotnick's theme from that cartoon, and Robotnick himself isn't too bad.

Let me get this straight? You would hate every UbiSoft game if Episode 5 was made?
