I'm interested in reading the beta script. I'd like to see/read all the things that were cut from the game. If anyone has the script, please PM it to me. (I'll start reading it once I finish the game though)

Same here. I wish to read it. If anyone has it please PM me too.
also, this is really bothering me, why everyone but the players are getting the beta...unless...theya ccidentally shipped the wrong version? nah, that's just dumb.
Still, i wish they could at least give us a reason why the stuff was cut.

I'm assuming Ubisoft provided the ESRB with a beta copy of the game, and these lines were cut from the final version? (because I've noticed a lot of people here on RPC have been mentioning the "original script" and that a majority of the dialogue from it was cut in the final version)
Yep, those lines are part of the beta script.

Wow, today I played the rayman origins demo, and my first impression was: STUNNING. The graphics are amazing, full HD, and I thought that characters would look small, but I can see them perfectly

(ehem...big screen). The only thing that I disliked is that...well, I liked it so much that I forgot about the gameplay!!, I was occupied, taking 2 minutes to appreciate the art of the first fragment of the level!! I died like 10 times killed by a lot of things, even sleeping lividstones, that's lame! but it's because of the gorgeous graphics and the amazing art. The hd is so impressive...that I think it's better to have the wii version to stop being so distracted

I'm excelent at platforming games, I don't know what happened to me
Anyway... I loved dying too... XD
P.D: The game is practically a religious experience when playing it with co-op, seriously.

I've been looking at the frist few pages of this topic and all of our reactions. Man, things have changed since then.

and who knows maybe they might release it for wii and pc. I don't see any reason to get angry.
Jesus I was in total shock back when it was just released. All i remember was seeing a Nymph and having to refresh the page then seeing Rayman and Globox on the screen. Then I started to hyperventolate and walk in circles wondering if was just a crazy dream. My mother had to tell me to get a drink of water and calm down. I had the most sillyest grin on my face for the rest of the night.

Not to mention your extreme hyperventilation.
But by golly you're right, my posting style was so simplistic back then, I felt like a pink popper. I almost felt like replying to Sabertooth's comments again, just before noticing that I already have and it's a year late.

Haha, while partly true, you seem a lot more lax about things these days. What was that thing you said, "Origins is better than sex?"

So I finally got around to playing some of this game today and after completing the first level...I understood why the rating at the back said "Suggestive Themes".

I'm guilty for disliking the game at first too. Luckster was trying to make me fall in love with the game instantly, while it came completely unexpected to me that there was a retarded Rayman for a first impression with the very first trailer, even if that craziness came associated with flaws in his 'birth'. I thought that when Ubi decided to split Rayman and Rabbids into two franchises, they tried to leave some rabbid in Rayman. I was disappointed, to say the least, and that disappointment pissed Luckster off in the meantime. It was a lose-lose situation.
But luckily I learned to like the game on my own, and the hate is all of the past now. I can't wait to have the game in arm's reach in less than three days!

Didin't want to point fingers
But others where pretty disapointed when RO was first revealed.
But man, you went from total rage to saying RO is better than sex.

So you never knew that Betilla was a college whore? It's so typical of someone as sophisticated as Rayman 1 Betilla to have a shady past. Bubble Dreamer is a pimp at its worst.

I kind of agree, when the game was first announced I immediately disliked it, it just didn’t feel the same as the other original 3 games… but then it occurred to me that Rayman 1, 2 and 3 all had very little in common from each other in the first place as well, and it was that moment that I decided to embrace the game for purely what it presented to me as being; fucking fun.
Now it’s being realised in AUS in 3 days… SO PUMPED

I didn't actually 'feel the Rayman' until I started playing the full release. Even the demo didn't do it for me, but the retail version sure did. I have just one question though, is the helicopter power available from the start? I can't seem to use it and I'm already in the Desert of Didgeridoos.

No, I believe all of rayman’s powers are unlocked throughout the course of the game (granted I haven’t actually played it) if the game hasn’t told you how to use the helicopter power yet, than you haven’t unlocked it.

Alright, I was just curious since "Swinging Caves" allowed the use of the chopper in the demo but not in the retail version.

Yes, in the demo all of rayman’s powers are all unlocked (I think)
