++++ Debuted on the stream
- Got dropped a while in, but I managed to get back.
- I don't think I came up all that well, hopefully I'll be able to make sure I've got better settings for next time.

+ Woke up a little earlier so I can wake up normally and not with a rush or anything.

- My internet may or may not continue to drop anytime between 12:45 AM - 1:30 AM and not come back until 6 AM each day, it kinda depends on what happens today. Really sucks because it's vacation and I wanna get the most out of these days.

+ And with that being said, I'll get out of bed after this post.

+ Time to dedicate another day to Pokemon :)

- Despite still not having given any reason why, my parents are so keen on getting me to sleep during vacation that they put a timer on the router so it shuts off once they go to sleep. This gets in the way of 90% of the things I should be able to do because it's goddamn vacation and I should be able to have some fun before 20 weeks of school with one 9 day break between approach me.

+/- It is possible to get rid of the timer but it's going to be really tricky and I think it's going to end up failing because it's extremely complex. But it's not impossible, either. I'm gonna have to look deeper into this because I'm not letting them take away all my vacation nights, not to mention they'll just leave it on when I go to school so this will be a permanent problem until probably a night when my father has to work late and turns it off. I think I can do it though, let's not get negative right away.

+ Unsecured internet connection gives me occasional 30 - 40 minutes of internet.

- Kinda sad that instead of even attempting to explain their opinion they just try to secretly force it. :/ Not to mention that they know perfectly well that I stay up because of Zepto. Take anything you want from me but imo it's pretty fucking shitty to pull a dick move like that knowing exactly what it cuts me off from. :|

Edit:

+ I may be able to loophole around the access information and edit the restrictions area. I'd just need access to my fathers computer to delete notifications of the changes. Hooray.

Go for it (if you haven't figured it out already)! There's nothing more satisfying than outsmarting oppression.

What would happen if one resets a router with time limit? Just asking. Wouldn't that reset ALL settings? Or perhaps I am wrong.

- Feeling sad for some reason.

Theoretically, depending on the way the provider functions, you could have them only provide you with service in specified hours, which obviously has no workaround unless you were to send them some of your own money.

- This sickness is shit. I've gone through one and a half Kleenex boxes today already, and I can't sleep properly.

+ I'm actually feeling quite inspired right now, and I'm excited to release some update information on YouTube for ROTD soon.

+ Part of me is ready to say good riddance to this year.
- Another part of me is sad that another year is ending and once again we must start over from January 1st.
+ At least the last day of the year is my birthday. I guess that's kinda cool.
- Still feeling crappy. :/

I meant just pressing the reset button on router which for example also removes password if it is protected.

Yes, you mentioned it depends how provider functions, but I really didn't know they had to do something with it. I was always able to do everything on my router from home without even calling them, and I even changed IP adress by simply modifying MAC when I enter router adress in browser. But I guess you are right it depends on provider, I just didn't know it.

Well, what I said was that, given that a provider obviously provides you with internet service, some providers allow you to have that service provided, instead of 24 hours a day, only 12 hours a day, or whatnot. Not that that's necessarily the case in this situation, but that was a popular thing here, moreso five to ten years ago. Obviously again, given that this is literally your internet plan, no amount of router sex will give you more internet.

Resetting it would only restart the internet, not take out the timer

+ And I've done that! Searched the internet up and down, teached myself what the hell a router even really is, broke into the admin configurations, deleted notifications, wrote down the entire router setup, screen shared with my irl friend to look over it, and as it turns out my father bought a little physical timer that you can use to shut it off. Buttons turned from 12:42 - 5. I turned the buttons off and if it still doesn't work I could just unplug the whole timer because they sleep with the door closed now.

+ I've finally done something productive today

-My copy of NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams is faulty, it would seem. Keeps freezing on the first fight with the first boss of Helen's story. I'll have to play it on Dolphin or something then.

+Bought NiGHTS Into Dreams HD on Steam, as it was on sale for a very cheap price. Only got it now as it is a game I was going to get eventually, so may as well get it while it's half price.
