I've mainly been playing Dark Souls 3, but also some indie games, such as the likes of Cuphead and 1001 Spikes for a few minutes here and there.

I've mostly been playing some racing games lately, most notably NFS Most Wanted (2005) and I'm having a lot of fun with it. The pursuits are very realistic and challenging which makes them fun. I also recently found out that there's drag racing in it too which is also pretty good.

There's also an interesting platformer I've been playing however, called Celeste. It's like Super Meat Boy.

I forgot to mention I've also been playing GTA Vice City again too, it had been many years since I last got into this game. Without cheats this time though ofc.

I was the same with FlatOut 2 for many years. It's really fun, though I haven't gotten back to properly playing it again since just recently. I never completed it either so I'm definitely looking forward to finishing it for the first time. :D

I want to get back into playing Watch Dogs Legion soon. I stopped playing it some time ago due to save issues causing hours of progress to keep being lost continuously.

I started playing Rayman Advance again. Yeah. People can call it a bad version of R1 all they want, but it's my childhood you know? :P

Having currently a bunch of games installed plus installing WatchDogs 2, still have like 10 games to play with, including few multiplayers like Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Ark and some survival.
Singleplayers are my top priority atm.

I played Until Dawn (again) with friends a few weeks ago and we all had a lot of fun so tomorrow the plan is to give Man of Medan a try.

I haven't played video games in a while because of my studies, I'm currently pursuing a Chemistry degree right now and considering it's not the most ideal time in the world to be a student right now I haven't had too much time for myself. Anyway, I decided to pick up Batman: Arkham Knight because I couldn't run it on my previous pc and man.... it was an absolute blast! I haven't had that much fun with a videogame in a long time. It sounds pretty goofy if I say this but I actually felt like Batman gliding and fighting my way through the city.

So I got to play Man of Medan with a friend over the week-end and it was pretty nice, though clearly nowhere as good as Until Dawn. The plot is more basic, the game is noticeably shorter, there's weird freezes every now and then, and the atmosphere is not as captivating, but it still does a good job at keeping a group of friends busy for a night, especially with the movie night mode that allows each player to have one or more assigned characters (well, technically you could do it anyway, but now you get the prompts and I suppose it's well balanced in terms of playing time).

PluMGMK wrote: Sun Sep 25, 2016 2:57 pm Damn it! Right, as soon as I get time, I'm playing the Ball to find all its secrets and hone my skills, then I'll fire up the Chamber of Secrets and see what I can achieve! :P
Welp, looks like only now I'm making good on a 4.5-year-old promise (about the Harry Potter game, I mean – I did the Ball then and there and even made a Let's Play of it). And, well, incognito and Itooh have both left the forum, so maybe there's no point in trying to continue the conversation. :oops2: Suffice it to say, incognito was wrong. :fou: I had to look up a guide to confirm it though, because despite the fact that I'm better at finding stuff in (and generally not sucking at) games than I was the last time I played a Harry Potter game (well over a decade ago), I didn't actually find all the secrets myself. :oops2:

Maybe it's the fact that I'm not a kid anymore, but I was also struck by how much trouble I had relating to the Harry Potter world, coming back to the franchise after so many years. This archaic microcosm of our world where children are happy to spend half the year (and apparently a quarter of them are happy to sleep in a dungeon!) doesn't really speak to me. There's also the notion of a "magical" biosphere of plant and animal species that are part of this world, but completely unknown to modern science, which doesn't ring true, because I'm pretty the real-life biosphere is already so interesting if you dig in – truth stranger than fiction!
All this despite the fact that other "kiddie" things like Narnia and Rayman still hold lots of appeal for me, presumably because those clearly delineate the "magical" species into different universes (though occasionally accessible from ours in the former case, and God knows what the connections are in the latter case :fou:). And on the non-kiddie side, there's Half-Life, which has lots of xenotheric flora and fauna, which displace the natural earthling species rather than coexisting clandestinely with them! :P

The same game I've been playing since October, 2019. Splatoon 2. I've invested over 2,500 hours into this game at this point. :oops2:

I have basically just been switching between games here and there whenever I get down to playing them, ending up going back to GTA etc. I did say I'd try this Splatoon game a very long time ago, then never did.

To continue my long thread of Isaac posts, I've been playing the Binding of Isaac: Repentance lately, a new final DLC that just came out, and it completely rejuvenated my interest in the game, it conpletely changes the meta and a ton of the issues that plagued previous dlcs and honestly I'm just happy that the game got such a second chance, it's oozing with new and reworked content alike, new characters and paths integrated from the great Antibirth mod and just a ton attention to detail that was missing flash version, I'm happy to say that it's one of my favorite games of all time again.

On Sunday afternoon I felt quite tired and hungover so I thought I'd just chill and play the console, and I ended up picking Bioshock, which I probably hadn't played in ten years or so! It's still a very pleasant experience.
