If Ubisoft says the forums will be BACK, they mean that they will restore the boards in their original state. I would hate it like hell if they didn't do it, and lie about it...

True, why didn't they say the truth instead of lying to the community? What difference would it make?

Surprisingly a lot. We all know that it was hacked. But the ones which don't still think it could be a technical problem. I mean, a technical hitch sounds better than a hack, right?

But then again, a technical problem is something wrong with the system, not a hack, so the info they gave was wrong!

I wasn't exactly talking about the promise it would be back tomorrow. I'm just saying that 'bringing the forums back' means back in their original state. Else you can't call it 'bringing back' cause it may change into 'creating an entire new forum'.

They are still liars. I hope it does come back to phpBB, but they lie. I remember when they said it would definitely be back on 16 Jan. It still isn't back. And now they're probably in their half term holidays, sitting back watching TV. Ubisoft cannot be trusted.

A hack can be unrenewable, but a technical hitch can be fixed. If Ubisoft just told the truth then people may start panicing. So I guess it's good they lied in a way.

The english admin didn't really say this, and the forums can be "back" with a stupid system.
