No. A bass is an instrument of it's own, it's not a guitar. It's like saying a cello is a violing. :roll: :roll: :roll: :pfff: :pfff: :pfff: :pfff: :pascontent: :pascontent: :pascontent: :pascontent:

History lesson: The electric bass is basically the electric version of this instrument. The only reason electric basses are shaped like guitars is because el. basses were originally made by Leo Fender, the famous guitar maker.

I am a bass player. I know more about this than you. And a bass is not a guitar.
And btw, there's no such thing as a bass guitar. The correct term is electric/acoustic bass or simply bass.
