Rayman Pirate-Community

I'm using Blender for all of my 3D modelling. It's free, and only takes a second to download, so trying it out is easy and fairly comfortable. There are also plenty of tutorials if you need help getting used to it's interface and systems, though I'm sure you will be fine if you are experienced enough with 3D modelling software, which you certainly seem to be.

There is a difference between respecting a person and agreeing with everything they say, particularly since I'm the one who created the topic and will have the strongest feelings about its status.

well technology4617, I can't say that I in particular was intrested, but a thread like that begs the attention of people like superpaavo, who'll just troll the shit out of it. that and it promotes LAyZ Tlk, smtin 1m n07 f0nd 0f. however I do agree that not much consideration of others interests was used when locking it, to each their own I suppose

For the record I was the one who brought up the thread onto the mod forums with the intention of locking it, but wasn't sure whether to straight away.

The reason why "Lie to me" is a valid thread is simple; there are rules to it. Sure you can say whatever garbage you want but it comes with one solid rule that must be in force as well as the standard RPC rules. Your grammar thread on the other hand is simply "Fuck grammar rules let's say what ever crap we want how we want" and you may as well of called that thread "Official Spam thread" because it would've been no different in what would've gone on in there.

In light of the more recent posts, I can understand why the topic was locked, even if I do not agree with the decision. Ah, well, moving on.

Also, @Ad, sorry for solely accusing you of locking the topic. I didn't know you conferred with the other mods beforehand.

Well now you know that no action will be taken that isn't either in or thought to be in agreement by other staff members. We are all in agreement most of the time, because it's moreso 'getting it' (what's best for the community), than it is fabricating you own opinion fueled by personal preference when it comes to situations like this. Serza explained why the thread was an obvious lock brilliantly.

I actually had a feeling it would be locked, but I hoped that wouldn't be the case...

I'm not questioning the moderation system of RPC, moreso simply disagreeing with a decision that was made. I still think RPC has great mods.

I had never seen Rayman 1 development art like that before. It looks like some of those drawings of Rayman's head from back view depict him with his hair split into four parts instead of three. And his body is a bit more elongated, like his Rayman 2 look.

So yeah once again this is a +

+ Has a free-from-school day today since yesterday because recovery. I had on Tuesday January 7'th surgery on my wisdom tooth that stood in a drastically weird position that it pushes my other teeth aside. Which also caused my left jaw-bone to dislodge little by little. Before the surgery, the surgeon doesn't want to risk breaking my face nerve that's connected to the plagued tooth's stream veins. Instead, he came up with slicing the tooth in four. I hated that the anesthasia had to be stung in my mouth twice as I have a unfortunate experience with medical needles and that I negative react to sharp objects contacting my skin. And further went things just fine, have stitches in my mouth. The results are just excellent. All I have to do is not to eat too much and take it easy till next Monday/Tuesday. At first, I thought my left cheeck had to be cut open wide so that the WHOLE tooth can be removed, but the surgeon made the "slice and dice" decision. Which me and my mother agreed on. Or I would have a sore mouth for weeks.
