Are you seriously fucking assuming everyone lives where you do? I haven't heard of a country that uses a "grades go up to 10" format. I'm from Poland where it's from 1 to 5, 1 being worst and 5 being best.

Well, 6 is best, but we're talking about instrument lessons here.

Sorry, I didn't know, I know Germany goes down from I thought 6 to 1, and America has letters, we have grades from 1 to 10, with ten being best

Well, North America has letters, though they're moreso calculated in percentage with a letter assigned to each percentage. 65 or above is a C+, 73 or above is a B, and 86 or above is an A. I forgot exactly what C and C- are. These exact percentages may vary, but that's how they were in my school.

Grades work similarly here too, the only differences being that the percentages will vary, and that we don't use "+", stand alone letters, and "-". Instead, it goes by A1, A2, B1, B2, B3, and so on, with the lowest grade actually being "NG" all of a sudden (it actually stands for "No Grade").

+Another sick day, another college assignment submitted. Ironically, this week has been one of my most productive, despite only actually being in college on Monday. I also did some of my own personal practice in UDK, to make up for the the fact that I MIGHT have missed something important in that class. I seem to be a quick learner in it, and have gotten a few more things down. I seem to just "get it", and I think this might actually be because I tinkered around a lot in LBP when I was younger, as I can draw parallels between utilising both.

Hm, gradings for us vary depending one which step of the educational spectrum you're on, and which specific award you're going for. For A Levels, we go from A*-E, and a U for fail.

+ Parents left to catch a movie so I switched on the timer for the weekend
- Parents left early. I was hoping they'd be back at a time that will make them go straight to bed when they go home, but nope. Sadly turning on the timer can't be entirely secret and if one of them were to look for a few seconds they could notice some tracks I left behind. Nyegh too stressful, this is why I don't do this stuff during school days anymore.
+/- I accidentally switched off the first button. It seems to randomly pick a time (the device is a little broken) between 12 and 1 so I may have just taken a bunch of time from my school day nights. However, I think I'm just gonna leave that one switched off so if it gets by unnoticed I won myself 20 minutes of extra time or so.

I've been to 5 different schools in three different districts and never seen one use letters, actually. It's all percentages, 70 - 100 being passing. I've heard other states allow 60 or 65 as passing.
