In the first video, if you skip to 2:09 and look at the picture in the right hand corner (the blue one), you can see a screenshot of a level from the new game (looks like the ice/food level), but Rayman appears to have his
Rayman 1 design. I really wish they'd gone with that design for the final game, but I guess we can't have everything...

It's his final design, just a different pose, resembling the one from Rayman 1. Not the Rayman 1 design, I think.

Really? Looks totally different to me. I've seen the pose where he stands up right in the Rayman Origins demo, but it looks different to that somehow. Maybe my eyesight is on the blink

So does anyone have the Wii version? I think my game has a bug or something. In the level "On top of old smokey" there's a certain spot where the game automatically freezes and I'm forced to shut the Wii off. Anyone else having this problem?

Kinda waking up from my inactivity, just to mention that my C.E. arrived to me today as well.

What a lovely package, love the art book, and extra kudos for Ubisoft actually using a real CD for the soundtrack! I haven't listened to it yet but I'm planning to do so tomorrow.
I played the game for a couple of hours today.Took me a while to get back in the groove since I haven't played the demo in a while.. Plus I'm a bit of a perfectionist with getting those medals so needless to say.. I kept dying a lot. (
I already lost count on how many times Murfy popped on my screen and asked me if I want to quit the level because of it, hah :'D )
But I think I've finally mastered these controls again, those first two chest levels were such a breeze to go through now! Goodness this game is fun.

Ok, according to his nickname based on a poke-meme and the old spoiler (people who were avoiding spoilers don't read it anyway), this guy is a spammer.
P,D: Anyway don't erase his account, I think we can have some fun with him

How do we know he's a spammer? He is a new user, he might not have even known that nearly everyone has known that already.
I may be wrong, but we don't have to jump to conclusions.

Yes, I get it. But still. He might just be naming himself after a Pokemon or whatever.

... No, he doesn't, here's a meme on internet about the pokemon "slowpoke" check this out and you will finally get it:
finally get it?

Ok, just forget about him, on-topic again.
Guys, I just noticed that, like the Lividstones/Livingstones, the Stonemen were renamed as Golems.
The reasons are kind of obvious:
·Resamblance with the mythological creature
·Because Rayman's developers finally learned some english and decided to stop using basic words to name characters, I mean, seriously, Stone Man? Mr Stone? Mr Dark? Mr Sax? however, Mr Dark obviously kept his name because of the fanbase
·To avoid the "Stoned men" pun.
- Just as the case of the Livingstone, Stoneman is a last name. It isn't possible to copyright a last name.

They had names before?

Rayman is a rare last name. And you trademark characters, not copyright them.

Fuck, I wish I had fifteen minutes to do that.
Jesus Christ I'm lazy (yes I realize the irony in saying that), am I still able to buy the Collector's Edition if I didn't preorder it? I'm not sure if it's one of those editions where it's only available for preorder.

Nope, 'tis a sequel, Spiral explains it better, so check one of his past posts, he explains why RO is a sequel.

Nope Spiral is the nickname for Spiraldoor, a member on this forum, he explained how RO was in fact a sequel as opposed to a prequel.
