Cool to know, but I'll stick to ePSXe :P

So you'd purposefully go with an emulator that runs Rayman 1 less accurately?

I'm a little hesitant myself, given deton's history here, and also because it looks as though these settings will cause the game to run at a slightly higher speed that was intended.

I use my PS1 to run Rayman 1 and 2.

@Tech
It depends on person's PC also. If someone has super fast PC and apply deton's settings, it will most likely run faster than intended. If someone has crappy PC, it is possible that it can help.

Not really; I'm guessing the reason it's running faster is due to there being less accurate throttle, and since the intended speed is 105%, the computer will be both less taxed than before, and the emulator set to play the game at 105% speed. It's a somewhat small difference, which is why I'm guessing deton probably didn't notice.

I haven't actually tested it, though, so this is all hypothetical, but it's a fair assumption based on the changes he made.

Well, when I said "perfectly", I really meant "more or less perfectly". There are probably minor glitches that I didn't spot, and there's the same music timing problem as with any emulator.

Well, yeah, but it certainly does a better job than ePSXe, especially in the sound department. ;)

Well actually theres a way to bypass it, ive already completed this game 2 times, last year and back in 2011, u just need to use a specific setting or be lucky enough to make it load the stage just enough, just spam the key u mapped as the A button and u skip the part where it freezes, hope this helps, i can make a video of it if u want, just need to download it again.

I believe that people are already aware of the methods to bypass it. It would be nice if Dophin dev team fixed issue completely though.

What, there's an issue on R Arena?

There's an issue that happens in the emulation of Rayman Arena: the game crashes after the loading to the Rise and Shrine battlefield. I reported this to Dolphin around 3 or 4 years ago and it was never fixed. However, Cairnie figured out how to bypass it in the meantime, which was repeteadly pressing A during the loading.

I need to ask OCG to place it again, if he doesn't mind.

Thanks Omar. :) My copy got mysteriously corrupted when I tried to move it around on my hard drive.

What are you guys talking about?
My MEGA link was always on my main account and never removed. I did transfer some other stuff on other MEGA accounts of mine though:

https://mega.co.nz/#!2o5zGbJZ!Ak88LHTLQ ... mc69_rwTUE
Game ISO is included too.

I now noticed it says on first post that link is not avalible. I dunno who edited that and why but link was always avalible.
Link for ISO on emuparadise is also broken it seems because not even whole link is highlited for some reason why I click on it. Best thing to do is for someone to remove that link and just place this link I originally always had. I know some people prefer here PAL so PAL ISO is packed with it and also to match other ROMS in other links.
