How would Krystal be a clone of Fox/Falco? Her main weapon is the staff, and because of that I think she'd be an excellent fighter.

A lot of people have sought attention by trying to come up with every possible reason why Ridley couldn't/shouldn't be in Smash as a playable. There has been formed a group, or a trend with people just not liking the idea. I'm not saying you are intentionally part of them and this isn't directly said to you, but at this point, it's just easier to copy and paste my thoughts on this. The main comments are that "everything can be made possible" and "the demand for Ridley is as high as ever".

"Ridley as a playable character is always a possibility. It can be made into one. Some people are just obsessed in hating the idea.
For example, replace the stage boss Ridley with an alt color. You can battle with multiple Luigis, or Mario and Dr. Mario for example, so why couldn't there be one more Ridley, that's a stage boss? Make the color stand out, so that you know he's different.

There's also a Brawl mod proving that (with balances and nerfs) Ridley works.

They don't even want to understand, that Ridley can be tweaked till he's not over powered. So the size is not a problem. There's also absolutely nothing wrong with how he looks. He is big enough to look almost as awesome as he's supposed to be

The demand for Ridley is as high as ever, there's a working mod created too, now we're voting, and Ridley has a chance of being on the top of the US/EU voting list.

But yyyyeah, just wow. Rayman at top 5? I tried to suggest and bump the thread so that someone would make another site where you can vote AND see the results, while the guy making it would add every suggested character to the voting list, but nobody care though. So there is one? Are there more?

@Adsolution: Sorry, I really don't know StarFox all that well. You're right, though, Krystal could be a decent fighter. Maybe for her Final Smash, she'd summon that pterodactyl or whatever it was from Adventures.

But yeah, it's good to also talk about why it wouldn't happen, and keep the possibility in mind, so you don't get too disappointed if it doesn't happen.
Microsoft is working on a new Banjo game. Spencer would of course want this to help promote the game. Nintendo is struggling with sales, as is Microsoft. They're competing. Nintendo might "see through his plans" and decide to not to accept it. It would mean more Wii U sales, but maybe even more Microsoft sales. People would move over to Microsoft, more than the other way around... It might also be win-win.
There's also voting going on now, so they might be only focused on that. Banjo will surely get a lot of votes now, though.

Rayman has been pretty high around SmashBoards, but with the ballots things have started to get hectic. A lot of people still see Rayman as one of if not the most likely third party candidate, and even Ubisoft and the Rayman team are acknowledging things on Twitter, but we still need to keep a steady pace.

I highly doubt Banjo will be accepted. As nice as it would be, I don't think Nintendo would ever give in to using a Microsoft-exclusive property. That said, they probably won't have Conker, either.

Conker needs to get his own franchise together before guest starring in others. I'm looking forward to that Project Spark reunion thing, although I won't be able to play it.

Yep I just totally made a ballot vote for Rayman for SSB4. Let's get him in the game, guys!

Project Spark is a toal disgrace to everything Conker was. Only reason why was Conker put there is so that Microsoft doesn't lose licence. Every company needs to do something with their IP's in 10 years. If they don't use some character on any way in 10 years, they lose ownership. Last Blinx game was published in 2004 which is why Blinx ownership expired recently. Now even I in theory can make Blinx game and never have any legal issue since IP became public domain. Conker Live and Reloaded was published in 2005 and if Conker was not shown on E3 2014, this year he would become public domain. Microsoft didn't want that so they just decided to throw him in some shitty game.

Project Spark's Conker game actually looks pretty good.

They're probably using this site to also document a lot of most wanted characters for the next title in the series. For example, with Ridley being such a highly demanded character they might end up preferring to keep it as a big name for later rather than to add such a big name in as a late DLC. Rayman would make a lot more sense for DLC, though I guess you could argue that he'd make a good non-nintendo IP for a next game. (Which wouldn't be terrible either - Imagine a Rayman Legends stage)

You what, mate? How is King K. Rool unlikely? Just because he hasn't been in recent games doesn't mean he doesn't have a chance. If I'm going to vote again, King K. Rool would be my second choice.
