The Musician was rocking a bandana long before Rayman was. ;)

If there's one redeeming factor to Rayman's new appearance, it's the thought that the bandana on his forehead is actually the same scarf he wore in R1 and R2, just repurposed. He had to do something with that old thing, didn't he?

Also, something just occurred to me. Is the word "Incrediballs" actually used once within the game? If memory serves they're only ever called "creatures" like they were in Rayman Legends, leading me to believe this "Incrediballs" junk is purely from the marketing team.

That's funny, I hadn't thought of that. I recall long ago someone drew a fanart depicting Rayman repurposing his neckerchief into a bandana.

Holy shit... today I played a pretty unsettling level in Toad Story. Maybe some of you have played it.

You're in a cave, and the cave has some secret rooms. In one of them, you can see how a Teensie is tied to a rope and slowly dragged into a pool of lava. You have to deactivate the thing with a switch that is pretty hard to reach, and you have to do it just on time before the Teensie becomes toast. You'd think the Teensie gets bubblized, but no, he actually turns into ashes and FREAKING DIES. Same happens with the next one, who's in a cage slowly dragged into a pit of fire. There's also one about to get crushed by two walls, and the final one is about to get crushed by a moving wall with spikes. So, yeah, the level is basically a hall of torture rooms. Sometimes there's not enough time to save the Teensies and you have to actually watch them die, then take a look at what you had to do.

I know it's not as freaky or edgy as a creepypasta would be, but for Rayman standards, it's pretty fucked up, and with all the preasure it puts on you, I'm pretty sure it would scare little kids. I didn't know I'd have to deal with a level that is the Glade of Dreams equivalent of SAW. Lol.

Oh yeah, I played that level! I thought it was pretty cool. The concept of having to save these trapped Teensies before they met a horrible demise would never come to mind when playing Rayman, lol. Also the track to the level that's playing is "Lost in the Clouds" which makes it even more unsettling.

Yeah, It was... something!

What I appreciate about Rayman Adventures is that some levels do actually feel like actual Rayman Legends levels. Some levels are about stealth, others about flying on a pig, or the ones that I hate, the "leap of faith" levels, where the platforms only appear when you're jumping really close to them. It's refreshing and enjoyable. In fact, the enemies in this one are more threatening that they usually are in the game, not because their AI is improved or anything, but because their placement is really clever and makes you think twice before making a move. In comparison, Jungle Run and Fiesta Run are just a collection of obstacle courses.

Before I read that end bit I was gonna say, that sounds like creepypasta material. Especial since it just sorta popped up in a game that usually never includes that sort of thing.

Well I tried it and it didn't work, I entered my password in there only to be asked if I wanted to buy “one STARTER PACK FOR £3.99”, without any mention of me having bought it already.

So, I'm still fucked, without any way to recover the gems, tickets, food and elixirs I paid for. :|

I'm not playing the game anymore until this is fixed, I just don't see the point.

The Christmas pack looks nice too, I'd be happy to buy it to support the game just like I did with the starter pack but I'm not gonna make the same mistake twice.

oh God, those fucking levels are by far the trickiest levels in Adventures. Even though they do make you hit the restart button constantly, I find those levels highly enjoyable.

I played that level yesterday night, I was just too late to save the teensie who gets dragged into a pit of fire and he turned into ashes and a empty cage fell down.

That was pretty unsettling.

I recently played said level too. It definitely gave me some slight creepypasta vibe, wasn't really anything I thought I would find in a Rayman game.
I felt so bad when the empty cage fell down ;_; So I restarted the level until I managed to save them all, I just couldn't leave them to die like that, haha.

What if Classic Jazz Jackrabbit,Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 3(Sonic Runners) and Duke Nukem games have microtransaction "freemium game genre" as 2D platform sidescrollers like Rayman Adventures game?Firstly we have Tails' Adventures now we have Rayman Adventures.

Oh yeah, the empty cage was the detail that made it feel more fucked up. You just can't help but feel like shit.

Here's something neat, guys.

A few playthroughs ago I learned something interesting. I'll try to tell what's going on based on trailers, the opening and some interesting levels with storytelling, I'll try to be the less fantiction-ish I can. Prepare yourselves, this is going to get deep:

Rayman Adventures happens during a war between the Lividstones and the Toads.... and the Toads are winning. Yeah, one would think that since the Dark Teensies hired them in Legends, they would be friends or something, but nope. There are some levels where the Toads actually help Rayman defeat the Lividstones, and of course, Rayman has to defeat the Toads after that. By connecting the points, I'm pretty sure the war is happening because of the huge value that the eggs from the Sacred Tree have. After all, as seen in the opening sequence the Lividstones stole them first, but in the first trailer it is shown how they were stupid enough to let some fall into other kingdoms. Minotaurs aren't involved in the war, they're just cleaning their stuff as usual. Toads and Lividstones don't even try to steal the eggs from them, since the Minotaurs are protected by the Gods of the Olympus Maximus. Finally, some Toads use the Dark Teensie's abandoned base as their secret place to make their plans. The entire Glade is in war, and as usual, the Teensies don't want to fight... and that turns them into the bad guys' punching bags.

Finally , as usual, Franckys are part of the Lividstone army, Ogers are part of the Toad army, and Giant Minotaurs are part of the Minotaur army.

I will gladly play more often once Ubisoft allows pad controls in the game. I fell in other level that is ridiculously tough to perfect it with touch controls.
