I have no idea what happened Never thoughts about that game as a buggy game really
Did you make a different DosBox configuration, record native from an older machine, or did you only re-synchronize the audio? In DosBox there's a very bad delay in audio, but it isn't present in your videos.

I just played with DosBox and I've never had any audio issues

I posted a video in another topic yesterday about a glitch I discovered many years ago in Rayman 2. Probably best to leave it here too for posterity!
So, in Menhir Hills part 2, it's possible to turn the shell around, but doing so apparently earns you a punishment worse than a Try Again: Rayman disappears and his health starts draining, and doesn't seem to stop at zero!
I think I saw another video fairly recently about how a new Rayman+shell entity is created at the entrance of each room on that ride, and the old one is deleted. So I guess what happened here is that I activated the "delete" trigger again, but not the corresponding "create" one. The game was left with no player entity and didn't know what to do. I think something similar, but weirder, happens after 10:30 in this video of Carrot's.
It's funny how the game seems to know that no player entity means Rayman's dead, but not that it needs to put up a Try Again screen and restart the level. Maybe they were going to put a "sudden death" in as a failsafe for accidental deletion of the Rayman entity, but only coded the health-drain and forgot the actual Try Again. Or maybe whoever put in the health-drain assumed it would trigger the Try Again automatically, without looking deep enough into the methods handling player death. And without testing it of course, the pleb!

That glitch you were talking about recently was actually a thing I wanted to check out. I tried to perform it myself(after a few attempts) I finally got it done. It is in fact true that this happens. It was my first time discovering this glitch. Here is a screenshot of the active glitch and here is a glitch in Rayman revolution that is similar(negative health)https://youtu.be/m9HD6_sY8doFor Some reason, you can use look mode in that state.

You can use look mode? Interesting. So it still knows the supposed position of Rayman's eyes. Maybe the trigger deletes Rayman first, making the game think he's dead and drain his health, but then it deletes the shell as well, making the game think Rayman's hopped off and is standing on the ground. And because it thinks he's standing on the ground, it doesn't think he's dead anymore, so it doesn't give a Try Again screen. But you're still basically softlocked because there's no actual Rayman entity to move in response to player input.

There is also another thing that happens that has something to do with what you're saying: Rayman's shadow suddenly appears on the spot after you use look mode.

(Sorry for the terrible picture quality. This was taken from the PS2 version.)
Who knew Globox could go through solid walls?

In Rayman revolution, it is possible to make the ninja henchman generator guardian spawn Outside the generator room. There is also another glitch where you can cause a fixed camera angle that differs from the one that is provided when entering the generator room. The video that shows the two mysterious glitches It also has steps in the description on how they are done These glitches are hard to perform but try harder whenever you can.

I recently found out that if you scroll to any level in Rayman 3's level select screen, press the "Revisit" button fast then go back, you can get either a huge frown or a huge smile depending on your score.

Which version does this occur? I'll admit the image is a little...freakish. (The smile I mean)
I want to test this myself

No it actually happens on the PS2 version and yes I'm pretty sure it's a glitch.
Interestingly enough Globox hardly says ANY of those quotes in the PC version in my experience playing through that version (I might need to play through this again to be sure, it's been years), though I have heard him say some of those quotes in the GC version. Who knows, though about the other versions? Still find this glitch hilarious.
Oh, I find this glitch weird. Aaron was the one who got me thinking of this glitch.

Well I don't think there's many glitches I'll find that aren't already known but I know the 2 glitchiest games I've played are Rayman Advance and Rayman Revolution. I didn't play through Advance yet but it started having lots of glitches immediately within the time it took to complete about 3 levels
Oh that happens on all versions of Rayman 3 Aaron you just have to press the buttons really fast is all
