On that topic, two of my favourite YouTubers decided to team up to review the N Sane Trilogy. Ol' Caddy and SomeCallMeJohnny:

The review was great- it was kind of refreshing to see something less bitchy, although I do find it weird how they sort of skimmed directly over the games absurd ice physics. Still though, it was nice to see Johnny and Caddy do a collab together, although Caddy's sort of extremely "in your face" type humor has sort of worn out on me at times, I still love his personality. I also kind of liked how Johnny was mostly the voice of reason in the review, really brings out their characters that they play for youtube.

Apparently, the game's UI designer did a video on the game, then took it down. That is what the owner of this video claims, which is interesting:
As you can see, it's using Xbox icons.

I was struggling with the jumping mechanics in certain parts of the first game and CSB, but I've gotten used to it since I began Warped. Lost plenty of lives in certain levels.

Could someone suggest an order to play the original trilogy? I was going to play 3 first but I'm tempted to play them chronologically, is there a preferred order?

My preferred order is to to skip 1 entirely then jump directly to 2, then 3... then CTR

Is 1 that bad? I've heard it's hard but not a terrible game. I've tried jumping directly into 3 but I immediately felt as though I had jumped into something with no context, though I might have accidentally skipped the intro...
I don't mind which order I play, I might take up your suggestion but play 1 after the second and third

1 is plagued with poor game design which 2 fixes. It's also badly paced too, with a very inconsistent difficulty curve.
I wouldn't call it bad, as it has redeemable aspects to it, but I wouldn't recommend it personally
I agree that it would probably be better to try it after playing the other 2 classic games. I'd also recommend playing Twinsanity over 1 as well

It's a whole bag of missed opportunity and potential, but I think it serves as a good example of how you could potentially take a classic formula and keep it recognisable while deviating from it.
It's possible a port to the Switch and PC will happen to N. Sane Trilogy and a brand new Crash game.
Wait and see scenario I guess.

I'm happy that it will finally give me an excuse to play the N. sane trilogy, I've only ever played a demo of the original game.

A physical copy of the PC version? I can already see the people modding those games to death.

I liked every game up to and including The Wrath of Cortex. I like the N-Sane trilogy too but it's a lot harder than the original games. I would like to see at least one of the new ports be 60fps as I feel like that might make it a bit easier to play.
