Eh my BF's shown me a number of PS3 games that are quite good [eg Sega Allstars Racing, Scott Pilgrim, Critter Crunch, Sega Superstar Tennis among others], plus it's useful as a DVD and blu ray player though I don't have my own HD telly yet.

If they won't release for PC with the fear of the piracy, I'll drive nuts.

I love my PS3. I play regular retail games, downloadable games, watch Blu-Rays, watch downloaded TV episodes and movies, Internet TV, listen to music and if I didn't already have a DVD player hooked up, I'd use it for them too. If you can afford one, they're a great bit of kit.

If they decide not to release Origins on PC I doubt very much that fear of piracy will be to blame. Stacks upon stacks of high profile downloadable titles are released on Steam every day and no-one bats an eyelid.

AJack wrote:Like most downloadable games, Origins' best shot at turning a good profit is exposure - it won't have the same pull as a AAA console game, so making your audience as wide as you possibly can is a great way to make extra bucks. I'm sure UbiArt are thinking carefully about this.
I don’t think UbiArt are the ones who will make that decision. They’re just a handful of lowly developers; if they’re ordered to port the game, they’ll do it.

The developer's name was the first thing to spring to mind, but naturally decisions like that will be down to management and publishers, yep.

Wow, I just watched the trailer to Rayman Origins, and Globox's style just cracked me up.

I'm glad there finally is a Rayman game of some kind.

Well, I've been hanging around audio and computer sites, working in the office, playing video games, working with hobbies, and such. :oops2:

It's better to know this later than never.

However there is the possibility of the game being delayed to Spring 2011, but if that happens I won't get mad, by the contrary.

We know the team is working 110% on the game, so my expectations are still very high. :D

Episodes? As DLC? Sonic 4, anyone?

I'm hoping Rayman Origins (and Sonic 4, for that matter) both release a disc with all the episodes once they're released.

What do you mean? We are already aware of the similarities between the release strategies for the two games.

If you were born in 1999, as your name suggests, it definitely shows.

You can’t? Then what are you going to do about it? Kill yourself? Give up on Rayman Origins? Or are are you just angsting for sympathy?

Do you think that anyone could care less that you’ve been waiting for the game for a period perhaps 30% shorter than the rest of us?

You both 1999, if you are in such a state, then you don't imagine what it is to wait 7 years for a new proper Rayman game, and I'm still cool.

Meh 2 months is barely a wait, besides I have better things to do than worry about this game too much.

Anyway, it's missing 2,5 months for the release of the game (if it doesn't delay) and with school time will pass quickly.

(And that’s ignoring the previous seven-year hiatus, of course.)
