/caps

Seriously, it's good. The best track in the whole game. Not actually in the game. :pfff:
Who made that track list, MasterHero? It's not right in some places...

I PM'd Hunch about it since I might better not do this as this is an official soundtrack. As in, you can buy it, unlike all the other soundtracks I put online on RayTunes.

You can't buy it separately though - and collectors editions tend to be limited things. Some of us don't even need the collector's edition simply due to the fact that there wasn't a Wii version, making the main piece (the game) unplayable if you only have a Wii like me :P

I guess I'll wait for the verdict though

Yes,it is sadly. :( It seems that you and I have the same case. I have no time, I'm very busy, soon will be important exams for me at school.
Even I have no time to draw! Although I have a lot of good sketches. :ouin:

It’s going to show up on YouTube anyway. Until then, could you describe it? How do you know it’s Mr Dark’s theme? Is it similar to his music in the original?

[Why? The Magician's hat fell and his wig fell with it.The ended up with no hair like every other Teensie. That may mean that the real Mr Dark isn't a Teensie, but it's just a theory]
[Think. If the Magician was impersonating Mr Dark, why – exactly – would he wear a wig throughout the game? And why rip the star off his hat when he’s caught? It makes much more sense the other way round: Mr Dark was impersonating the Magician, even in the first game, and there never really was a Magician at all.]

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you get the game soon though, and I hope everything goes well with your tests.

It's a lot like the original music (electric guitar - the part we heard in the trailer is in it), but also a lot more fast-paced and it sounds more like a final showdown than in the first one.

[Good theory,as always.Maybe Mr.Dark ripped of the star and in case people hadn't understood because of the lack of text,
his hat fell..When he ripped off his start it was clear it was Mr.Dark's hat and then his hair fell to corroborate he was Mr.Dark.
I understand it now. Thanks spiral!I didn't realize that the one who has hair was the Magician xD Now I'm far more pleased with the story xD
]

Anyways I think in Rayman 1 there was a real Magician because the one in R1 was Rayman's species and the one in RO is a Teensie...

I kind of pity Haruka if she doesn't know about the big spoiler you're talking about yet. She'll come into this topic and bam - spoiled.

TeensieKing wrote:Anyways I think in Rayman 1 there was a real Magician because the one in R1 was Rayman's species and the one in RO is a Teensie...
I get the impression that it’s meant to be the same Magician as the one in the first game. The manual specifically calls him ‘The Magician’, and his role in the game (taking Rayman’s collectibles and giving him rewards for them) is the same. His dark-blue top hat with the yellow star (which is definitely his most iconic feature) is almost exactly the same, and he hides inside it just like before. [The only difference is that they’ve added the purple band from Mr Dark’s hat, to help join the two characters together.] There’s no indication that the R1 Magician and the RO Magician are meant to be different characters; the developers just changed his species so he would better fit the style of R2 and R3. They did the same thing with Betilla, Mr Dark, Moskito, the Photographer, the Livingstones, the Hunters, and maybe more characters that I’m forgetting.

Could anybody pm me Globox' official description in the box manual? I noticed something in the dutch manual that's quite interesting. It apparently has his species' dutch name written.

The complete making of - in French. More interesting stuff inside, like a photo of the 17-year old Michel Ancel, a small look at the UbiArt framework and a picture of a more decorated Snoring Tree.

Or better yet, just post the description right here, along with the other ones. The members who already have copies of the game have been curiously reticent when it comes to the contents of the manual.

"A quiet force within the Glade, Globox is never to be underestimated. Always ready to lend a hand to his friends and adversaries alike, his mastery of Fung-Ku and etiquette comes down to the classic Gimme Five move, a solid smack that can knock you right out of your boxers! This glorious goober is, nevertheless, everything you could want in a friend. Always up for a little fooding, fighting, and power-napping -- and always in good spirits -- Globox is second to none when it comes to romping, bouncing, and bubbilizing baddies. The mystery surrounding how the Glade's all-time undefeated champion snoozer became blue is a matter of some speculation among the magic people. The other Red Wizards of his Vubooduboo-practicing clan whisper of venomous bubeastietubbis, while the Teensies favor an epic tale of high comedy featuring Globox's fondness for sacred plum juice."

Here it comes.
GLOBOX
A quiet force of the Glade, Globox is never to be underestimated. Always ready to lend a hand to his friends and adversaries alike, his mastery of Kung-Fu and etiquette comes down to the classic Gimme Five move, a solid smack that can knock you right out of your boxer shorts! This glorious goober* is nevertheless everything you could want in a friend. Always up for a little fooding, fighting, and power-napping -- and always in good spirits -- Globox is second to none when it comes to romping, bouncing, and bubble-ising baddies.
The mystery surrounding how the Glade's all-time undefeated champion snoozer became blue is a matter of some speculation among the magic peoples. The other Red Wizards of his Vubooduboo-practising clan whisper of venomous bubeastietubbis, while the Teensies favour an epic tale of high-comedy featuring Globox's fondness for sacred plum juice.

*Goober is a term of endearment that comes from the ancient Gladeish verb "to goub," which involves dancing while smiling sheepishly, explosing the 'goubs' in one's teeth.

Is that Douglas Rand at 10:57? It couldn’t possibly be anyone else, unless it’s just an uncredited cameo, like Michel Ancel as Big Mama.

Yeah, nope. Goober was the word I was looking for. I had hoped it would translate to glute in the english manual. By the way, the word in dutch was goeder. It bore some resemblance to glute, so I thought I should check it.
