Technically this is true. I prefer playing Double Dash or Wii. But my Wii is not here atm so Dolphin it is.

Yep, that very interesting Thomas game docs video on it, and how the blue shell is the only reason the game is balanced. The rigging problem has gotten a lot better since recent times though

The thing about Tour is, I have to sandbag often to even do well since the game to me feels more like, performance based than anything.

Last time I played Mario kart was at the arcade and damn, that pesky shell

I have Rayman 2 on the N64 playing in the bg as ambiance, isn't really playing but it's great background noise

It still amazes me that the N64 version was the original version of R2 I always though it was PC

I still haven't finished High on Life as I'm trying to find all the treasure chest before going against the final boss.
I did spend some time playing the old DOS game - Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion - and actually beating it fair and square (no cheats) for the first time in my life!

It’s a great achievement when you can finish a game through without resorting to cheating and such.

Contemporary PC technology had more oomph.

Definitely. It’s crazy to see how far ahead of everything else the PC was up until the mid-late 2000s

The PC version was the one I played first so I’m partial to that over N64

I feel like the best one you’ve played is the only one playable to you. Like I own the 3DS version and I have the N64 version on my phone, but the 3DS one is so far ahead that all the ones below it are hard to enjoy

I only really played the PS1 version of Rayman 2 because that one was the only one Cosmic hadn't played.
Also I wanted to see the 2D prototype they hid in there. I liked the unique path that version's story takes, and the fact there's less to collect to 100% the game.
