< Made two sims breed with each other for yesterday. First time <'s done that. It went pretty well.

< Has made children for sim families during the creation of the family, but < had never actually made them spawn their own babies-in game until yesterday.

Ooh that's a nice new experience then. <'s got Sims pregnant all the damn time. ... sometimes... less ethically... *cough* TombStone of Life and Death *cough*

What iteration of the Sims is ^ playing? < remembers from <'s Simming years that < enjoyed the expansions for The Sims the most and that The Sims 2 did the overall vanilla game itself the best. The Sims 3, though really fantastic in some aspects, had some major drawbacks.

< was playing Sims 3 on <'s Mac that < is borrowing from <'s school. < has Sims 2 on <'s home laptop, so < will only have Sims 3 for only a few more weeks at most before < has to give the laptop back. Kinda sucks because the family < was playing as on the Mac is doing a lot better than the Sims 2 version of that family. < had loads of trouble raising the two toddlers < created with the family in Sims 2 and now they haven't aged up into children very well. In Sims 3, the toddlers were easy to raise and are now high-achieving teenagers.

Oh yes, the wants and fears system of Sims 2 was harsh and unforgiving. Removing fears from Sims 3 (they did that, right?) was a mistake in <'s view, though it did make playing the game a lot easier.

One serious pro in the Sims 3 is that < got Death to stick around and actually become somebody's best friend before he returned to the æther. Now < can call him up and invite him to a party!!

< was just playing the family < was talking about in Sims 2. < gave the father a job and so he went off for his first day of work while the children were at school. That left the mother all alone for the first time, and she began just sitting on chairs and staring blankly ahead, despite not having a low comfort level. < thought that was weird so < zoomed in to take a photo and she turned and stared directly at <. < thinks she might have been a little upset that < left her alone in the house, haha!

< was forced to lock a thread on <’s forum.

< beat Rayfist's score on the Weekly Challenge.

< is having a hard time with GOTG again. < might have to ban him for 24h.

So three days ago < fell asleep at 4 AM. Yesterday it was 5:30 - today it was 7:00... looks like < isn't sleepless, but rather, < somehow got into a rhythm of days being 22 hours long...
As long as the cycle of <'s increasingly late sleeping times stops once it reaches 22:00 or 23:00, <'s fine.

< Got a sim pregnant in Sims 2.
< Had a sim fall over frozen in his front yard. < felt sorry for him when that happened, but at least the sim was alright afterwards.

< posted some enemies on <'s Elem Thread. Hope any of y'all will check it out!

< thinks some of the Sims' interactions with the world and other Sims are amazing. In fact, < appreciates a lot of Maxis's dry sense of humour.
