Well, i renember when i once tried the combo (from MANDM's solution) I got it good except for the red gem on the stone. But i've seen the video of the Hoodlum combo in Part 1 and that one is sure going to keep me busy to master

Yeah. One of the great challenges of that combo is to get to the first Hoodblaster before the Vortex runs out. Speed is clearly off the essence here, but it's a great feeling when you've done it. If you're going for the maximum, then you should aim for around 54,000 points after part 1.

54 000 points Sweet . But i'll think i know what i'll have the hardest time doing now, it'll be the flying hoodlums, if i can use the HMF and punch him three times before it runs out i'm very lucky. But we'll see Wednesday, i think i will be in TLOTLD by then if i play it quickly. I've gotten there in a half hour once so three days shouldn't be a problem.

Well, it's either 54,000 or 56,000 - I don't recall. But you need something around this to get through.

And about those flying Hoodlums, do you mean the Hoodstormer? In Mand's video, he comboed them after the gems (which came after the Hoodmongers). This meant he had to hit it 5 times whilst collecting those gems, and for me, this was a very difficult task. A neat trick I used is to disinvolve the Hoodmongers from the combo; this way you can hit the Hoodstormer 4 times and wouldn't have to worry about hitting it multiple times whilst collecting the gems. Doing this, you'll have just enough points to get through if everything else goes smoothly.

If the fist is loaded a little, you might pull the hoodstormer off in 3 strikes, but doing this while collecting the gems and blasting the hoodmonger officer's is going to be really hard.

Well you don't have to do that if you disinclude the Hoodmongers, which is what I did. You could give him four normal shots prior to starting the combo, thus you will only have to hit him once. But, what Hoodmonger Officers do you mean? I assume you mean the Soldiers?

Yes, but if i understand correctly i should give the hoodstormer 4 shots before starting the combo ? But don't i need to blast the soldiers first ?

That's what I did, yeah. I killed the three Hoodmongers after getting 1 gem, I think, then gave the Hoodstormer 4 shots. Then I started to play the combo from there on. You'll find you JUST have enough points.

I have a little question : how can you get the matuvu fast. I activate look mode and zoom in on the matuvu but i'm always to late.

Basically, you have to stop and zoom in as soon as you touch the last gem. It takes a bit of practice, but as long as you stop dead in front of it, you can take it. (by the way, you need to be in a certain position so that the camera doesn't have to be moved)

I am getting the hang of the Matuvu. But now, it's very anooying, when i got the last gem and wan't to go to the cave i'm just to late to hit the gem, i tried 6 times but couldn't do it . Well, i think i just need to pracitce. Any tips ?

Sure. Leave the gem that is second furthest, collect the furthest after the third furthest and then collect the second furthest so that you have enough time.

Little question : i one time was able to urn towards the gems near the edge of the island and get them but is it easier to jump to them. I need to study now so i don't have time now to check it.

I pulled of the whole combo without the Matuvu now once, but now i can't reach the gems close to the matuvu in time. I can't get more then 5700 but 9200 should be possible when i get the gems in time.

Well, it's a good improvement compared to my old score But i wan't that 9200

Keep trying; you'll get it eventually. The next challenge is the Hoodlum Combo, so I'm afraid there's no peace for the wicked.
