Just see all the other links posted there and you will see that all are PAL. Why would I break that and include NTSC ISO? If some members here like NTSC (heck even I do like NTSC more) they can find it online easy on http://theisozone.com/ http://www.emuparadise.me/
Considering that Haruka who made this thread likes PAL more than NTSC, I did not want to contribute link with NTSC.

This reminds me of Monk.

The other PAL games listed here were optimized to run at the same speed as their NTSC counterparts, whereas Rayman 1 was not, and thus will run at a noticeably slower speed than the NTSC versions do. And, hell, I'm not even advocating for the PAL link to be removed; I think it's just absurd to include it solely by default. Why not have both?

Quite a few of the ROMs on there are either corrupted or have abysmal hosting, so no.

:)

To be clear, I don't think it's that big of a deal, but enough of one where I think it should be changed, since purposefully linking to a worse version doesn't make sense in my eyes.

Well, PAL runs at a slightly higher native resolution, but a slower refresh rate, so there's a tradeoff. Include both, for whichever someone prefers more.

If we only had one choice, I would vouch for NTSC, as non-60 refresh rates are much more difficult to get working properly with different people's setups than resolution differences.

Welcome back.
Thank you for interesting about Rayman 2's emulation. In turn
It depends on person's PC also. If someone has super fast PC and apply deton's settings, it will most likely run faster than intended. If someone has crappy PC, it is possible that it can help.
If you really have super fast PC/notebook, disable all speedhacks and game fixes, or just left default settings. But. If you set my settings at this computer, game will not working faster, because there is framelimiter enabled, so game will never run faster than limit.
Not really; I'm guessing the reason it's running faster is due to there being less accurate throttle, and since the intended speed is 105%, the computer will be both less taxed than before, and the emulator set to play the game at 105% speed. It's a somewhat small difference, which is why I'm guessing deton probably didn't notice.
Gamefixes causes slows of smooth, because of it, framelimiter is 105% of 60 fps. PCSX2's FPS readings are false when you enable speedhacks and gamefixes
Read carefully. But whether this 105% settings is good, just test yourself. I think yes.
There are probably minor glitches that I didn't spot, and there's the same music timing problem as with any emulator.
There is no any glithes, only on poor computer (slow game).
And there is no timing problems. You should change settings of sound plugin, this is "Synchronizing Mode" should be set to Async Mix. Not to mentioned by you default TimeStreth. And that it's not exist on all emulators. See Rayman 2 nullDC which IMHO looks better and it's far more smoother 60 FPS than PCSX2 60FPS.

Please share your feelings about using my settings. Thank you.

The limit is 105%, and, thus, the game most likely will run at 105%. :?

My posts are simply speculation based on your settings and...past experiences, but, yes, as I said, I can't make any definite statements without having tested it myself, though I might not be the best person to do so since I don't know the game all that well.

Er, he's talking about Rayman 1, not your "fix." And I can attest that there are music timing issues with mooby2, though there aren't if you don't use that dreadful plugin.

But, ye, if this works all right, then it could be quite useful. Someone should test this out.

The game runs with speedhacks and gamefixes at around 80-90%.
The readings are false. Again, read carefully.

I realized when I posted that, but it's worth to point it out.
I don't know what is mooby2, but my mentioned plugin is default.

Mooby2 is a plugin which allows you to run Rayman 1 with music in ePSXe.

Do you have BIOS too?
Also, it might be related with your PC system locale if it is set to Korea. Try changing to USA for example.

Frame limiter is not only setting. Have you tried that?:

GDsx is set to DirectX 10 if you have Vista or later?
Texture filtering enabled?
Maybe set native resolution.
You have PAL version? NTSC runs better.
Try disable all options of energy saving of your CPU in bios. Clean computer inside. Maybe some OC? CPU is most important in this.
Maybe this settings will be better. More smooth, more slow motion, maybe less lags, try that settings too:

Hmm, I know DS games are emulatable, not sure about DSiware, might as well give it a shot, you never know 'til you've tried.

Things I would like to find out via emulation:
1: In Rayman 3, Lavomatrixes share a health bar. What happens if you hit one of them with a Shock Rocket? Will the other one explode too?
2: WORLD ECLECTICISM CHAMPIONSHIP. WHAT. ARE. THE. MINIGAMES.
