It's nice that you are taking blame, but there's really no need; the fault lies predominantly with Kleaneasy. You are just a moderator from home, whereas she is an official administrator who should check the forum regularly and organise backups very frequently (especially because of previous hacks). And for your question, although it sounds crazy, the answer should be yes if we have such an admin.

At least you admit to your own reasons of your absence and actually do something Lime, Kleaneasy on the other hand hardly ever does. And to think that she's also part of an XBox community that uses PHPBB.

She´s not the only one making the decisions over there though. There are higher ups and others she has to talk to before she can do anything. She´s just the unfortunate one who has to stick her neck in and tell us what is going on.

Really though, I don´t care much for the backups. I´m mostly interested in it not happening again, like most others...

Basically, develop forum-specific backups, as they promised in 2006 when the Infopop RZ was first hacked. And maybe investigate in order to understand how this can happen so often. She goes on about how bad it would be to delete shedloads of posts from other communitities, but she's just deleted a couple of hundred from the Rayman forums, by "reorganising"!

Why she needed to put them in one place is anyone's guess, the categories were fine as they were.

Ah, so they were just moved.

Still, now everything's messed up. So many of the topics aren't Rayman discussions.

I bet this never happens on the other Ubi forums.

Kleaneasy's argument was fair, but still it's her responsibility to ensure precautions ARE taken, even if she doesn't know coding.

And also, if my internet went down, I'd try and get access somewhere else, like a relative or the library as soon as possible to let everyone know what was going on.

And now she's revealed her plan! She's not going to revive any of the other categories until activity comes! Another terrible, terrible idea!
