I use to like Wrath Of Cortex until my last playthrough... it just isn't fun honestly. I think the game has some genuinely fun levels but nearly like 80% of the games levels are poorly controlling vehicle levels.

PC version has to be, or else people will boycott. Or someone will make a fanmade patch.

You know actually now that you mention it I did like twoc a lot more as a kid than I do now. I think it's just the better graphics and higher framerate that make it seem good.

Yeah actually if PC gets a copy it literally has to be 60fps unless it's a terrible port and they do it like d
Dead Rising 3. I think I remember hearing ubisoft try to say that 30fps feels better than 60 if I recall right.

I'll always enjoy Wrath of Cortex. It was the first Crash game I ever owned, and one of the first few games I've owned in my life. While I am not fond of the levels involving vehicles, some of my favorite Crash levels are from WoC. :)

I still really like it but I think Warped is my favourite one. To be honest I think I'm just too busy playing all the Rayman games because they're new to me but I'll definitely replay tWoC when I finish them 8)

Also when I tried to play it again a few days ago I kept pressing the jump button in mid air to try fly because of Rayman

Them vehicle levels and swimming levels are annoying. I think Rayman Origins and Legends are the only games I've ever played where I actually don't hate the swimming levels

The only vehicle levels I do like are the ones where it only lasts for part of a level, like Compactor Reactor (top 5 Crash level for me), H2 Oh No and Fahrenheit Frenzy.

I think the last day I tried to play it I actually did them flying levels which turned me off it. Just hearing H2 Oh No is rolling back the years so I'll definitely have to sit and play the game again. I was going to say getting the relics is too hard but then again what did we do in Origins

I'm definitely not a fan of relics. I'll get them all, but sometimes they can be a little frustrating. That's one of the reasons Cortex Strikes Back is my favorite Crash game. All you gotta focus on is collecting the crystals and gems.

Cortex strikes back is the first one I ever played in my cousins house and I loved it. I asked for Crash Bandicoot 2 for Christmas and they got me Crash Bandicoot 3 so I just got on with it and loved the game. You know what I'm picking up a copy of Cortex Strikes Back next week now

I'm getting my PS1 tomorrow :)

Cool!

It took me years until I was able to play CSB. First Wrath of Cortex, then Nitro Kart, then Tag Team Racing, then Twinsanty, then Titans and Mind over Mutant, then Warped, then finally Cortex Strikes Back. I got the original after that, Bash then Team Racing, basically all Crash games for the PlayStation and PlayStation 2.

It really was and still is another amazing game. I spent so much of my childhood playing warped. Just bringing my friend in and us taking turns at the game for hours upon hours. No scoring system in that game either but I wonder what it would've been like with one. Good or bad basically.

Crash looks WAAAY better without the fur shader, The fur shader made it look like there was no shading on crash

I hope the spyro remastered trilogy is more than just a rumor.

Oh yeah I actually forgot about spyro. That was a brilliant game too :)

A remaster would be nice to see :D

Currently playing Wrath of Cortex, just finished level 25 and the final boss, about to get the relics and the remaining gems. I counted the levels that involve vehicles, and I got 22/30 (73%). Yep, only 8 levels (if I counted right) in the game that Crash or Coco don't use a vehicle for transportation.

I have to play the game again myself because I don't ever remember getting 100% of everything in it. Me thinks my game is scratched also but I do have it installed on my PS2 HDD. Might still see can I get the disc to work though :)

Well actually, you have to get 106% in this game.

Then that's bad because I never even remember reaching 100%
Don't know whether to play that for the night since I'm still waiting on the other Rayman games and my saturn or practice at Rayman 3 :?

Either did I, and I loved Crash Bandicoot as a kid. Though the only game I remember getting the relics in was Crash Bandicoot Warped and I think I was only 9.
