By the way, I heard some story in the USA where some states drink their tea without sugar and some others couldn't drink their tea without sugar. Is that really a thing?

hmmm well, I think southern states are more inclined to drink sweet tea than northern ones.

well, all i can say is, chamomille tea with a bit of sugar is the best,specially when hot, mm..also maybe that is true

Yeah, my late uncle drank unsweet tea, my co-worker drinks unsweet tea. I drink mine sweet and so does my dad.

Oh yeah, i never said it was strange. I don't mind ice in tea. But I don't like ice in soda or coffee. I prefer those drinks to be cold rather than iced.

I mean, the ice is only used to make the coffee a bit cold, that's all! If the ice melts, the coffee isn't good :oops2:

Only thing I never tried, was hot tea like the brits often have. I probably should do that sometime, see what it's like.

This is why I would strain the ice after a couple minutes. Enjoy the full power of the coffee i have :D

That's a possibility, but realistically it would take a lot for the ice to melt completely.
There's a small variant in which you add anise... :hinhinhin:
