Meh, I've been aware of Sonic's distinct designs for quite some time, they look the same yet different enough to be differentiated in some regards. I guess I'm used to it, seeing as I grew up with Rayman, who changes designs quite often.

Same here. I don't care about the classic or modern modells of Sonic. It's just Sonic.

kinky
My best friend used to have the Sonic boxers.
I have Sonic pyjamas and a Sonic T-shirt, as far as Sonic clothing merchandise goes.

I had a couple of Sonic shirts in the past, but I've outgrown them.

Curiously enough, the Sonic fanbase doesn't like nods to the first entries, even if they are minor. They consider them a "step backwards" for the franchise. They're all sick of Sonic 1. Of course, most of the current whiny fanbase was born since Sonic Adventure 2.

Aye, indeed.
The real world games do not offer a very interesting world that drags me in. Like I've said before the original games basically have a more varied and interesting Mushroom Kingdom and I can't believe how long it took them to notice what can be done with it.

I prefer a cartoony Sonic world because Sonic is a little, blue cartoon character. I dunno why Sega tried to make him so serious in the first place, it just looks silly.

I don't mind a little seriousness here and there, they just need to balance it out with some silliness. A story with both light-hearted comedy and serious moments (like what Lost World did, to an extent) would be perfect.

Unleashed, Sonic Battle, SatSR, SatBK, and Sonic Lost World all are around the kind of perfect Sonic tone, IMO.

I completely agree and I hope next Sonic game has same tone too. As for gameplay, I am curious to know what are they planning, knowing that Lost World got bad reviews. Some are specuating that because of that, SEGA will not use Lost World formula again.

Well considering how a common complaint is that the game tries too many things that overshadow the regular parkour game mechanics (I disagree with this for the most part but eh), I think they'll actually keep the parkour and stuff, only improve it a bit. As well as that, I have a feeling they might make the level and world design less geometrical and less like you are traversing across small planets, and make some more grounded and cohesive worlds, like we normally get (I don't mean realistic, just not as off the wall as some of this game's levels).

I think they'll keep the gameplay, but rid of some of the gimmicky levels, like Frozen Factory Act 2, which wasn't hard, but was a bit of a pace breaker.

So I completed all of the Omachao Missions. My play time is 45 hours and 28 minutes now.
It said that I got a "present" for completing them all, but I can't find it. :c

Omochao Missions...
Present from omochao?
Here it is:
It's more Omochao.
Except this time it's SA2 Omochao.
With unused voice clips.

So I did dive a bit more into Lost World today and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with the time attack mode, while Lost World had an excellent normal playthrough, the time attack mode is seriously a bore fest, Sonicbrawler was right.

Does anyone know how to make the Black Bomb Wisp get a bigger explosion? Doing some of the Omochao missions with that thing is a pain.

Do the Omochao Missions. You will eventually start getting Black Bombs with bigger explosions (the more stars a Black Bomb capsule has, the bigger it's explosion).
When you want to do missions such as "defeat 5 enemies with one Black Bomb explosion", head to Frozen Factory Zone 4, and go to the first factory area, which is full of ice blocks that you can smash. Use the Black Bomb on those, as I discovered that those ice blocks are actually considered enemies. And because they are in a 2D area, positioning yourself is easier. Smashing 5 of those simultaneously will clear the mission I described above.
As for Time Attack Mode, most levels are perfectly fine, but there are a few I haven't tried again since S-Ranking them, just because they aren't really suited to it (such as Sky Road Zone 3).
