Yes, the double-the-money price tag involved in getting Apple products is deliterious to one's mental health, to say the least. However, < feels some quality increase is involved over comparable products, though not properly proportional to the price difference.

< came back from a family dinner with family members from Quebec, and a few from France. it was a nice dinner and < enjoyed it a lot.

Eh, < thinks it comes to personal preference in the end, and any sweeping statement you make like that rarely will ever be accurate. Different products suit different people.
