Re: Rayman Legends
Wonder if Sony will adopt such a policy for the PS4, what with PS+ being much more of a necessity for some previously free features.
Re: Rayman Legends
If anyone's wondering, the demo's here and it's apparently downloadable in the US too:

Can't wait to get my hands on it

It is only updated in late afternoon.OldClassicGamer wrote:Well I checked European PSN and I don't see demo.
@Droolie Is there a way I can send you the PS3 demo files?
Re: Rayman Legends
Only if you hack PS3, but that process is complicated. You must first open console and do hardware modification to downgrade firmware and then use USB to flash it.
Just to tell you that PS3 is only console I have that is not hacked, so you can imagine the pain to do it if I who hack all consoles did not do it. But then again I don't have reason to do it since PS3 is region free.

Re: Rayman Legends
Yeah, and it's not really necessary Haruka, the Xbox 360 version will probably be uploaded within the hour, and the PS3 version will surely follow soon after.

Re: Rayman Legends
Oh alright, Droolie. Well, I think when it was back in the RO era, the PSN got updated only around at 18:00h GMT, so I don't know.

Re: Rayman Legends
Another problem I have with the Xbox 360- requiring Gold for almost EVERY fucking feature, EVEN DEMOS!?Drolpiraat wrote:Microsoft often makes demos gold exclusive for a week.OldClassicGamer wrote:Demo is Gold exclusive? WOW...
Who decided that? Microsoft or UbiSoft?
This same BS happened with the Rayman Origins demo, you SHOULD NOT NEED GOLD for a fucking demo, that's why it's called a DEMO.
Seriously what is it with gold? You pay for gold and you get all these features like Netflix, and Hulu, and all this other stuff, but shouldn't you have those apps be able to be fully used without the use of gold? I don't need PSPLUS for those apps, why would I need it for Gold? Seriously, I never even understood why the ads on your dashboard are STILL there when you are paying for gold. I understand the Xbox services are rather fast, but really, they need to expand gold a LOT more, give us users more freedom, I'm getting sick and tired of it, 'GOLD' seriously doesn't live up to its name, and deserves more freedom. This is why I prefer PS PLUS, you get your money back with it, they literally give sometimes $50 games for either a discount or completely FREE, it's MADNESS.
Re: Rayman Legends
That's true Rayfist, Microsoft are very money-hungry.
In other news, I will be able to download the demo files in about five minutes.

Oooh, let's see what treasures it may have, good hunting, Droolie!

That is one of the reasons I didn't buy an Xbox 360.Drolpiraat wrote:That's true Rayfist, Microsoft are very money-hungry.
Re: Rayman Legends
I got PS3 for free because one guy was owning my father a lot of money and he couldn't pay him with money so he just gave him PS3. I bought Xbox 360 myself later so I could play Kameo Elements of Power. I must say I prefer PS3 over 360. That is why I modded 360. Because I do not care for online features there.

*reads the script*
*finds out the truth about [naked Rayman]*

[The truth being that there's not much interesting stuff in the script. There might be some surprises about the musical levels and the Dojo though, although I'm not sure whether that will be in the actual game or not.]

Re: Rayman Legends
Ah, figures, given that Legends probably was more focused than RO was, seeing as they knew what they set out to do this time around.
Still, I'd like to know the juicy tidbits that still lie therein, any possibility of sharing, Droolie?

Re: Rayman Legends
I only want a 360 for a few games, VERY very few, Banjo-kazooie and Tooie HD remakes (Nuts and bolts can go fuck it's self), Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 Case Zero and Case West, Tales of Vesperia, Bayonetta, and maybe few other games.OldClassicGamer wrote:I got PS3 for free because one guy was owning my father a lot of money and he couldn't pay him with money so he just gave him PS3. Re: Rayman Legends
@Master: Sure, but it's even messier than the Rayman Orgins script was, thanks to all the data that's there so the game can figure out what line goes where.
I haven't read everything yet so maybe I missed out on some important stuff.
Please to tell if you find anything interesting!
Even though there seem to be very little spoilers in there, I'll put this here just in case:

Re: Rayman Legends
Tales of Vesperia, Bayonetta are on PS3 as well. Nuts and Bolts is indeed a horrible game. HD Remakes are awesome.
As much as I love spoilers, when I saw the script, it is too painful to read. All those symbols and stuff are hurting my eyes.Drolpiraat wrote:@Master: Sure, but it's even messier than the Rayman Orgins script was, thanks to all the data that's there so the game can figure out what line goes where.

Hm, interesting, stuff about UPlay, and linking a Nintendo account? Leftovers from the Wii U version it seems.

Tales of Vesperia is only on PS3 in Japan...
And Bayonetta for the PS3, I'd rather get for 360, because of the harsh brightness issues.

Importing FTW. You can always tell your father to import it for you when he goes to Japan or you can order it on eBayRayfist wrote:Tales of Vesperia is only on PS3 in Japan...

Re: Rayman Legends
I don't intend to import a ps3 game, I would LOVE to get a 360 for myself in the future mainly for those games, I'm a huge Dead Rising fan but I was so disappointed seeing it never came to PS3 or PC. I can see why those absolutely horrid extremely gimmicky rabbid titles were on the kinect, I seriously can't even think of 10 good titles for the 360. I just want a 360 someday, but with the small amount of games I want for it, and the price on it, it probably may be best if I wait.
