< has seen a post on Tumblr explaining the "xe" and "xem" pronouns. Just imagine the x's as z's. So "xe" would be pronounced zee and "xem" as zem.

X has always been pronounced with a z sound in most words that start with x. Like xylophone.

< says the word is "written". < thinks it could certainly be better formatted, to say the least. It still had the intended impact, but it seems very rushed. < is not really one to give advice on this though, < has never exactly been a good story writer himself.
