Very surprised by how few people here have played Pokémon before, I thought it was part of the being 8 ritual that you are required to play it?

When did you get this one then? Mine was this one TCG game I had on my iPad when I was small, and my first traditional game was Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu (I think)

Surprised me you haven’t completed it in that case! Probably because when you play a game when you’re a kid, you have no clue what you’re doing so you use your own guidance. My friend had DeathSpank on his PS3 for 6 years and only just got past the first boss, then a few months ago he got it on Steam and completed it in, like, 6 days

I'm currently sick and not playing anything. By the time I have time to resume my first attempted playthrough of The Witcher, I will have forgotten everything about the game. 👿

Well, a lot of post-Soviet countries rather prefer Sony over Nintendo, so i grew up playing more Sony than Nintendo :oops2:
Dunno about WP, though.

Hmmm, I wonder why that’s the case? Maybe because there were many Ninty bootlegs but not many Sega bootlegs floating around in the nineties

To be fair, while Nintendo do have a major presence here, I'd argue Sony have been way more popular in the UK than Nintendo have, at least over the period I've been aware of gaming (00s onwards).

Do you live in the north Master? Because I live in the south and have only met a handful of people who know sega further than Sonic The Hedgehog.

Nah I think when it comes to Sonic we're the same on that front, only if you're older like early 90s would you probably know Sega made consoles and had other franchises. Though I do think Sega's doing a better job at showing off their other franchises lately, Yakuza/Like a Dragon is a series I've been wanting to try out for a while now, and I hear a fair amount about those games.

Ah one of the regrets I have: not getting a Dreamcast at the time! :oops2:

Now there’s a number of games on that system that give me a reason to get one, including R2! But in time I suppose.

..Maybe? Perhaps it was because of the prices? Or maybe it’s because a lot of people consider Nintendo to be “a company that makes kiddie consoles” or something like that? :confus:
