The Electoons are female. I think the hearts they show in Rayman 1, and the pitched voices in Rayman Origins are explicit enough.

I'm just going to drop in to clamour about the annoyance I discovered when first playing Rayman Origins: the game is in Dutch! D:<
It's not all bad since the characters don't say that much, but I can't stand the fact that I don't get to see the actual level names, character's speech and puns that were definately involved in multiple scenarios. I can clearly tell where there are a few translated jokes that weren't received too well but which I will commemorate for the effort of trying. The weird thing is that the box tells me the game is in both French and Dutch, yet there is no Options Menu to be detected anywhere in the game where I could change this setting. The reason I have for wanting to find this menu is in the hope that English will be in there as a packaged default. I hope an Xbox Update will arrive at some point that grants me the possibility of changing my language - the Dutch isn't too bad but I would very very much prefer English as I am accustomed to. I find it a rather poor show that Ubi doesn't let its customers choose which language they wish to play in and I find it quite depressing that getting a game from your local games shop forces you to get it in the local language.
Does anyone know a way of changing the language?

So, now that that angry rant is over, I can finally say that I am really pleased with the game itself. It's a great game and I couldn't have wished for anything nicer, to be honest. I love how the music consists of a recurring main theme like in Rayman 2 and I'm stunned looking at the graphics. It's a bit sad that this game, intended for larger screens, has to be played on my near foot-long TV screen, but maybe if I decide to move my mahcine I can play it on our big screen downstairs. Yeah, maybe I'll just move my Xbox.
Great game, having lots of fun with it, if you don't have it, get it now. If you don't like it, you can go to the Cave of Bad Dreams. :P

can you give me some tips for the last 4 tricky treasures
tip 1: run! Never let go of the run button
tip 2: never use the hairycopter! It will slow you down
tip 3: don't jump high! Press the jump button lightly not hard
tip 4: spin attack! If you need to break an obstacle press the attack button while you're running because this wat you don't lose momentum

I hope that helps you!

Two more Skull Teeth! If the Land of the Livid Dead is worse than this, I'm in deep doo-doo.
New Daily Bubble FTW! I can't believe Zombie Chickens were scrapped... :( They were always some of my favorite enemies.

Well, the menus are all in English and I think I did set the default to English, but the location of my Xbox is locked to The Netherlands - I can't change it.
I'm not sure though; I'll check tomorrow and hopefully I can solve things with an easy solution like that. Thanks!

Maybe they're gay... everything is possible in a land populated by magic boobies, crotch-moving heroes and pole-dancing magicians.

There could be male Electoons. Kirby is the most feminine thing to ever come out of Nintendo, and he's a guy. Oh, and they aren't magic boobies, just regular boobies on magic people. The boobies don't do anything magical independently.
