Tha wasn't really the point < was trying to make. That may have seemed like I was stating a fact, though I thought it was clear that < was expressing his own opinion and not basing it on fact, but rather <'s preference (hence why < said it takes away from the fun, because that's <'s preference, not fact).

Also, < would have thought <'s opinion fitted with the Michelangelo example better than the spinach example because I was basing it on personal preference, not fact, so my opinion was not invalid.

Anyway, the point < was actually trying to make was weather his example of opinion above and the one in the other thread was actually a correct use of the word, and < thinks it is, and Ad has it somewhat confused (I'm still open to change my mind if evidence against me is presented, though!).

Occasionally, when < is feeling daring, < likes to stand in hot bath water to warm feet up. It's nice when you want to think about things.
