Re: Rayman 2
One awesome thing about Revolution:
Instead of having Rayman stuck in the incredibly claustrophobic confines of the hub called the Hall of Doors, he gets to free-roam in not one, not two, but THREE free-roam hub levels! That's gotta count for something!

Re: Rayman 2
Yeah, I agree. I much preferred the idea of the Stone Circle. As well as making saving confusing, the Hall of Doors makes the game more restrictive. I can't say which game I prefer though.

Re: Rayman 2
While I was wondering what kind of hub I would like R4 to have, I came up with a concept I called the "Isle of Doors".
Imagine my shock when I found out that it already exists in the R2 DC version!
I'm psychic. Lol.

I loved it being free-roaming, but I thought the game would've been harder/lasted longer if there wasn't a stone circle...Yeah, I agree. I much preferred the idea of the Stone Circle

Re: Rayman 2
It would suck if there was no Stone Circle and you had to walk ALL around the game...
Re: Rayman 2
What is the Isle of Doors? Is it much different from the Hall of Doors? While I was wondering what kind of hub I would like R4 to have, I came up with a concept I called the "Isle of Doors".

Re: Rayman 2
I dunno what the Isle of Doors is, I only know it exists because a guy playing R2 DC in a Youtube vid finished a level and "Isle of Doors" came up.
Re: Rayman 2
It looks more like a island with teleport holes that teleport you to a hole.
Re: Rayman 2
I think it is an island, I've seen a map of it on a website...I forget which one.
Re: Rayman 2
That was what i loved in the game best of all.spiraldoor wrote:One awesome thing about Revolution:

The Isle of Doors doesn't matter, it's definitely not canon...I think the Front is canon though, it gives you a lot of info about Rayman's world.
Re: Rayman 2
The Hub in Rayman Revolution was even bigger than i expected! Simply intresting, amazing and the true style of Rayman's world!

Re: Rayman 2
There's just one bizarre thing that bugs me when I play Revolution: At Globox's house, if you look over the cliff, you see that you're really high up on a mountain or something, and surrounded by a vast forest, with mountains in the distance. But when you go down the Globox's well, you find yourself on a beach! And if you look up, Globox's house, the mountains, forest, everything is totally different! Is it a magic well?
Re: Rayman 2
Isn't that what it's called? But yeah, it has to be a magic well.
Re: Rayman 2
It is a magic well. And there are tree's on mountains.
Re: Rayman 2
Yes, that's what spiral door said.

Re: Rayman 2
The magic well is where you go to give lums to teensies and they give you powers.
The Globox well is totally different; you use it as an elevator.
So is the Globox well enchanted, is what I meant to say?

Very true, and something I never considered. The views from the Globoxes' Garden are just fantastic though.spiraldoor wrote:There's just one bizarre thing that bugs me when I play Revolution: At Globox's house, if you look over the cliff, you see that you're really high up on a mountain or something, and surrounded by a vast forest, with mountains in the distance. Re: Rayman 2
Yeah, i'd love to see that for real.
