Rayman Pirate-Community

This morning I dreamed I found the missing room in DOTK3.

I dreamed I was playing through DOTK, got through the first and second parts, and reached the bit in part 3 where you have to swing on a hook. I made a pig's ear of whatever I was trying to do (something about getting gems) and got cornered by a Knaaren. I decided to run back to the previous room to renew the Lockjaw, but as I was doing so, I noticed a fairly big hole in the floor to my right. I decided to jump in, for the sake of it, and as expected found myself in the realm of the Zombie Chickens (indicated by the "calming" music we were discussing the other day ).
However, I noticed that I was facing a spiral door. "That's different," I thought, and I went into it. I emerged back where I had seen the hole in the floor, but now realized that there had been a spiral door up there hiding behind a pillar. In fact, I still couldn't see it but inferred it from the fact that Rayman ran out from behind said pillar. All very odd!
Next I noticed that there was a little square hole in the wall, blocked by a bright orange tile. I definitely knew that that had not been there before I used the spiral door, and I decided to shoot it. The tile broke, and Rayman was just able to squeeze through the hole. I ended up in a room like the Heart of the World, only darker because, well, it was in DOTK! And there were red and green gems moving (!) around in there!
At this point I decided to quit the game, start recording (somehow!) and do all this again, so I could post my incredible finding! But then I realized that it was actually a demo I'd been playing, not the final game, and that the reason I'd never seen any of this before was that it had been scrapped. Still, I felt it was quite a discovery. But then I woke up.

By the way, even though I said "I" in the above description, I never believed I was in the world. It was always just me controlling Rayman, on my PC. Usually in my dreams I tend to get mixed up about that, but not in this case…

Some more recent dreams of mine usually appear something related to Rayman.

I remember that I had a dream splitted into two parts on 20th September 2019, in the second part of the dream appeared the Guardian of the Cave of Bad Dreams which he was living in a French town along my parents and me. I can keep telling you the dream if you are interesed.

Dreamies about rayman?

Of all my 16 years ive never had one, my dreams are usualy LSD drugfields that have no meaning or sense

The only games ive ever dreamt about were persona and gta san andreas

I recently had this weird dream where I went to E3 and Ubisoft had a shop there where they were selling games. One of them was Rayman Legends on the 3DS. Luckily they allowed you to try the games before you bought them, so I put the cart into a 3DS and it turned out it was just Rayman Origins.

The dream I had on 20th September 2019 is splitted into two parts:
1st Part: I was on a small cruise and I was with my classmates, my parents and my Physics and Chemistry teacher. In this dream, my Physics and Chemistry teacher was in charge of theater teacher and she was dressed as a pirate captain. My classmates were rehearsing while I was looking for some combination of dress to interpret from someone. When the premiere of the fictional work arrived, a classmate of mine who is a The Seven Deadly Sins (anime) fan came to the stage to present the play, and then I went out with a bizarre combination of clothes (a grey T-Shirt, a black jacket, a black belt with pieces of gold, gray brown pants and sneakers). My Physics and Chemistry teacher was disgusted to see me what I was dressed and I was ridiculed. Next I went to another room to see the maritime landscape.
2nd Part: I was on a (probably French) town with my parents. I was having breakfast with my parents while I watched some cartoons which are exclusive to Youtube, in these cartoons it starred anthropomorphic canids and it was created by a French who has a surname namely "Ancel". Then I looked away from the laptop screen and I watched my parents and one more being were eating breaded chicken with lettuce and, when I looked at who participated in that weird breakfast, it was just the Guardian of the Cave of Bad Dreams, much to my horror. I thought that at some point it could attack us or even he could show me a picture or a video related to Rayman 2's Alternative Ending but, despite my worry, he stood by kind and he did nothing wrong. Next I was playing on a Rayman 2 remake for a more advanced console and I was in the Cave of Bad Dreams level, I had fallen a lot of times until I reached a winter area that contained a village. I tried if the inhabitants are enemies attacking them with the Magic Fist and some guards chased me in that game. Then, Jano interrupted me, he talked to me and he hugged me while I was ashamed and afraid at the same time. My parents were not yet aware of his presence and in the end I saw another episode of the same animated series that comes out in this dream.

That's all the dream I had nearly one week earlier.

Last night I dreamed that they released a new version of Rayman Legends, and I was playing a brand new level in it, as Rayman himself. I just started running as usual, and got past the first few platforms before I realized there was a sign at the beginning of the level that I hadn't bothered to read. I tried to go back but a chase section had started – dragons or something. I kept going and got to a water section, where the dragons were replaced by small killable 2D sharks. I tried going back and killing them, but then 3D sharks showed up to kill me instead!

After dying, I respawned just before the water section, so that still didn't help me read the sign I missed. I decided to just restart the level, and sure enough there was the sign again. However, I couldn't seem to concentrate on what it said (I guess that's normal when you try to read in a dream). After a while, Barbara appeared from behind the sign, as an NPC! She and Rayman (my player character) then began flirting, in a nice Raymanian gibberish. I found this all quite amusing, but was still frustrated by my inability to concentrate on the sign.

Wonder what it all means...

When i was much younger i would sometimes dream that there was a secret level in Rayman: Hoodlums's Revenge, which had similar theming to the game's version of the Land of the Livid Dead, in which Globox was playable, and he could actually take damage, rather than just running away from enemies scared.

More recently, i've dreamed about Rayman being in Smash Bros., but every time i unlocked him, the game would crash or something similar.

A bit later and still have never had a singe rayman dream

I had a similar dream last night. This time, I dreamed a member of our community had made a mod that caused Aurora to spawn as a hostile NPC in one of the boss levels in Legends (I think it was the one with the Medieval Dragon, but the level layout in the dream was completely different from the real one). So I was playing as Rayman, and Aurora was trying to beat me up – I think, to an extent, it was inspired by Robin's fairly recent "Multiple Raymen" video. I managed to get into an area of the level where Aurora couldn't find me, then another princess appeared, who somewhat resembled the scrapped nymph (for some reason, the name "Ursula" came to mind, even though she looked nothing like the real Ursula…) who also tried to beat me up.

I kept moving, and got to a bit where the boss appeared. Then the princesses lost interest in me, and started fighting the boss – they were programmed to hate the boss more than they hated Rayman! This is of course like what really happens in Rayman Origins when the Mecha Carnivora appears – robots (normally hostile to the player) start attacking it. Anyway, I decided to just stand around and let the princesses take care of the boss. Eventually I realized I had to deliver the final blow myself, but they had done most of the hard work!

So now I've dreamed about NPC!Barbara and NPC!Aurora. I guess in eleven days' time I'll dream about NPC!Estelia, which will be really incongruous since I used to always play as her back when I played RL…

After finally getting to sleep around 5 AM last night, I managed to dream about fighting Space Mama on some type of really old phone, and the colours were all messed up... and somehow I was streaming it to my boyfriend on Discord too

I've also had a similar dream before where I was fighting Skops instead and it was normal, besides that there was this flashing news bar thingy at the top of the screen that was distracting and had nothing to do with Rayman

For some reason I've only ever dreamed about Rayman 1 and the GBA version of 3 lol

Been dreaming of Razorbeard and robopirates lately. A LOT!
Today I dreamt I was in a school/office-like place and was inside a secret room that worked as a bedroom, until it turned into a swimming pool area where Razorbeard and his wife were present. Razorbeard's theme from Rayman M was playing on background too.
A couple nights ago, instead... how do I begin with?
I think I was in a dream-exclusive Rayman M level playing as regular Henchman 1000 and behind me there were Razor, Wife and another Henchman 1000, the reddish one, who had for some reasons a cat ears and tail (so he was a furry, I assume?). Then, after visiting random places, I saw Razorbeard dancing and that was the most cursed thing I saw in a dream ever.

I had a long convoluted dream last night. In the middle of it, a player character in some recent UbiArt game found Holly Luya sleeping in the middle of what was supposed to be a boss fight, asked her if she was OK, and got a singe syllable in response (though that syllable was apparently a full sentence in Raymanian). Given that I've used Holly Luya as an avatar here for years now, I get the feeling it's a warning about the tiredness I've been feeling lately (that I'll fall asleep on the job or such like)

I manage to dream about R2 and R3 (seperate nights of course) but the entire thing was like a deep cinema movie. It was immersive, everything followed suit and it was absolutely brilliant. Think of both games, fully HD animated but so lifelike. It was emotional funny sad deep.....and I can always return to it.

You can always return to it – you mean like lucidly? That's lucky…

I never dream about Rayman interestingly, but sometimes about the community. I for some reason had a dream a few days ago that the new ranklist was in place, and I literally forgot all about it until now.

I dreamed last night that the second voter against the proposed order of said ranklist turned out to be spiraldoor, back after years of absence.

I suppose you're right! He did a lot for this community back in the day. I also owe him for introducing me to Portal, and by extension Valve games in general!
