sergiomonty wrote:Now that you're talking about the Land of the Livid Dead, I finally noticed what do you get if you beat it. It's kind of hard to notice, but it's not the great thing. When you beat the LotLD, in multiplayer, players can choose the same character at the same time, for example, there can be 4 blue Globoxes in the same screen, something that wasn't possible before beating it. It's a weird bonus feature, and kind of annoying and confusing during gameplay if you ask me.
WHICH ONE AM I?! *dies*

I'm going to the Land of the Ecstatic Living instead. It might be easier.

I noticed the multiple character thing too, but I figured it had been in there from the beginning. Would've preferred an ending cutscene.

Nope, before beating the LofLD, my brother tried that with me. When a character touches a bubble and turns into another character, the bubble loses the icon of that character and becomes empty. If another player tried to touch that empty bubble, nothing happened. However, if you beat the LotLD (at least on the wii version, I don't know how the other versions work) and jump on a bubble, the icon of the character will still be there, and other players can choose the same character. I discovered it when I was calmly choosing my character, just after beating the LotLD, and then, my brother (with blue rayman) punched me so hard in the game that I accidentally fell on the wrong bubble: blue Rayman. At first I thought it was some kind of glitch, I mean, TWO BLUE RAYMEN!! so I changed my character, left the Snoring Tree and came back, but it continued happening! Finally, I realized that it's not a glitch... it's a new feature!

Well, there was an update on my playstation but I think it has nothing to do with RO. Off to wait a little longer, then.

It is possible to beat it, I had the glitch and I still beat it.
Just keep trying with different characters.

Been there, done that...
By the way, somebody mentioned something about not hovering in the level? Hovering in a Tricky Treasure is ill-advised in the first place. Anyone should know that.

Go to the Land of the Livid Dead, go to the part where you have to avoid the chainsaws while doing the wall-run on those falling coffins. Take the hand of the swingman (You know, that cyan thing with a big smile and wings that gives you a hand). That's a checkpoint, so don't worry if you want to try this glitch, because you won't lose your progress. Ok: while hanging on the swingman, do a crush attack (down+attack button). PRESTO! watch rayman fall so fast that immediately he surpasses the limit of the cliff and breaks the background. Rayman soon dies, yeah, but it's funny as hell doing this, just try it

HTH did you figure this out?
Personally, i encountered that glitch because i lost my heart on that walljump part, so i suicided so i can try again that part without losing the heart; apparently the blue guy was a checkpoint, and that heart was lost :<

I know, but there were instances where I hovered for a second or less and it threw off the whole thing. I went through without hovering at all and I was suddenly able to keep up with the treasure. It's a really fickle glitch.

F**k multi-player mode, this game should be tailored to suit a single player. I thought it was called 'Rayman' not 'Rayman and friends'.
Sorry but I just find multi-player mode irritating and pointless.

I missed the first cage in Skyward Sonata. I'll have to play it again anyway, I didn't get the medal.

Hooray!

Today I have received my parcel. This is so cool, so many gifts out there. It's look like a gift from Santa Claus. ХD
Thank you so much, Ubisoft!

Hey, Droolie, could you rip the backgrounds for the Land of the Livid Dead?

I love the multiplayer mode. I wish the original had one too.

The background from the office in The Reveal would be nice too – there are clues there that I’d like to examine more closely.

Of course! This is so fantastic that I was admiring of my parcel all day and almost forgot about everything.

I'll post the photos and video here later.
Unfortunately, I don't have my own PS3 and Wii, and I will have to go on weekends to my friend to play it.
