I'm really disappointed in Nintendo, Mario kart World for instance is such a letdown and so barebones and we're supposed to pay 80 bucks for it? I refuse to buy a Switch 2.

MKWorld's PR team severely overstated its free roaming gameplay

I've always thought it was a visually appealing game, but after their philosophy with the release of Silksong, I'd like to give it a try. I think they deserve it. What do you think of Hollow Knight? What do you consider to be its strengths and weaknesses?

I gave Hollow Knight a try a few years ago, and you'd think given the fact that I'm a big fan of the Metroid series, it'd click with me...alas, it hasn't. I like the vibes and the aesthetic, but I don't know if it's the action or the way it's a little more oblique, but I just couldn't take to it.

I didn't think I'd appreciate it so much given that difficulty frustrate me and therefore I didn't expect being sucked in by a soulslike, but this one got me. I just couldn't stop. 24h over two days (one of which I was supposed to be working). The atmosphere is amazingly somber despite the cartoony characters and the soundrack is breathtaking. Combat is really tight and blends with the platforming and the worldbuilding is really rewarding.

Silksong, so far, keeps the difficulty up but changes one core mechanic with changes everything and I am not use to yet. It seems to also be more story focused with Hornet partaking in dialogues. The rest, so far, looks untouched, although, again, I can't judge the worldbuilding yet.

More than enough! I bought the physical edition :P (yeah, I always prefer the physical edition, and even more if it ain't that expensive and includes more content). It will take a few weeks to get it home, but that's okay because I'll lack of time these weeks... Can't wait to play it!

I created a new account on Skyward Sword this morning and I’m currently entering the Earth Temple. Great game.

As a person who likes survival adventure games, I like to play games like Minecraft. Recently I have been playing Roblox. For convenience and free, I searched for Roblox apk, I found it quite good and the game experience was very fun.

Wouldn’t it be easier just to download it off the Play Store? :P

So is Roblox, at this point. So if I didn’t have an issue with morality, I wouldn’t do either.

I just tried Kenshi for the first time, having been on the fence for ages about whether to buy it.

What really attracted me was the sandbox gameplay and emergent narratives. Maybe those elements really hold up, but I don't think I'll get that far.

Yeah, I'm turned off, but it's not the fact that it's a punishing game, nor the fact that players are encouraged to set their own goals and live out their own stories. What turns me off is that I can't shake the impression that the game boils down to logistics and combat.

For example you can play as a trader, build a base etc. which aren't my personal idea of fun, but it's made even more laborious by the fact that it's not presented in a "play for fun" format; it takes scouting and learning. The effort makes it rewarding, but that same effort could be directed to real-life trading and real-life reward.

And with combat it's like, sure all kinds of crazy outcomes could happen, people talking about getting caught by slave traders who are then attacked by bandits and then the bandits attack you... the emergent narratives are great but it really all amounts to guys trying to murder other guys.

If anyone here has played Kenshi, please let me know can see my viewpoint or if I'm just completely missing the point here.
