How is that a spoiler? The game is out, and it’s not even in the game. Anyway, ‘cuz’ doesn’t necessarily imply a literal relationship, though in this case it probably does; the term being used to describe the one character in the game who looks very similar to Rayman can’t be a coincidence.

Try downloading from Multiupload itself, it usually works better. The megaupload link isn't broken, it's just "temporarily unavailable" because megaupload decided to be shit again.

Hmm...I have a glitch with my game. I had 236 Electoons, then saved and quit the game. When I loaded it up again I had 234. Any advice?

@Greenbottle3: That's too bad, but you know you are downloading when you go on the internet too, right? It would be exactly the same if I would put them online as individual images.

It includes a lot of stuff again (264 images to be precise) with filenames ranging from c to f. Also lots of backgrounds I couldn't convert yesterday from files with names ranging from a to c (bg_sky_night02 and background1 are awesome: wallpaper material!).

Ohh, by the way, something funny happened this evening. My mom came into my room saying we had to go play Origins together again next week. That can only mean one thing!

I got my cousin comin over today, so she might wanna try RO with me.

I've read a but on origins, and after looking through this thread, I think its all sorted!

Rayman Origins is called origins, because it returns to an original state in the rayman series (finally stopping the raving rabbid craze)

It is a sequel to the first rayman, which was not what was promised. But, that said, it is able to give us more of a link between the 1st and 2nd Rayman. Making it more like a prequel to the 2nd Rayman.

It is taken back into 2nd format, and was worked on by the man who worked on Rayman 2 TGE (loved that game ), and so, I few references, such as Glowbox, are nice to see!

Is this right ? Did I miss anything?

EDIT: I agree with THEdragon (below). The story and the layout kind show that it might be a prequel to Rayman 1. But, on the ubisoft website, they lead us to believe that it is after the events of the first. Such as: 'they are back, doing it again', or 'return of Mr. Dark'.

I'm sort of thinking that, storyline-wise, Rayman origins is sort of the 'Rayman 1', and everything from Rayman 2 and up is mostly in chronological order, and that Rayman 1 does not fit in with the storyline at all...

I mean, in Rayman 1 all the characters were limbless, Rayman wasn't the only one of his species, the magician wasn't a teensie and everything was just... Different. I just think it's too outside the storyline and that Rayman Origin's is the real beginning.

Buuuuuut that's just my opinion.
