i tried it, it's pretty easy, it don't give an secret ending (it's still weird the warship can fly, after sucking up the lividstone)
I'm not talking about the lividstone, I'm talking about the propeller, which seems to have a HIGH resistance. I just wonder what happens if the player manages to destroy it.

Somebody asked if I would create a tutorial on how to draw in Rayman Origins style, so expect one to be up any time this week.

Good news for folks with the Pirate's Treasure glitch - sometimes it solves itself! I just gave it another shot after unlocking all 9 of the other teeth, and it worked just fine this time. It took about 6 goes to get right to the end of the level, and the first time I did it all unfolded correctly. This was on my first and only save file on the PS3 version of the game, with Globox-Rayman, if that matters.

I'm at the end of the Sea of Serendipity, wow... The music... the atmosphere...
God damnit to the Tricky Treasure, I took 5 minutes to try to get the Skull Tooth.
The swimming Time Trials are tricky, especially because of the "spiked eels" and the spikes that appear from all sudden. The dark arms that try to catch me in darkness didn't help a lot either. At least I managed to get all the junk without leaving anything behind.
Hopefully tonight I can try to play more levels.

Red = propeller
Green = Lividstone

That one took me almost one hour to beat in time trial mode, much more than any of the tricky treasure levels so far.
Have you gotten to the 2 last one? I foubd that one hell

Actually, you're just lucky. Hunch took 20 minutes, some people took an hour, and some people had (or evens still have) a glitch that made it impossible to beat the level.

I haven't even thought of doing them yet. Oh man, will I EVER 100% this game?

There's not much point, it's a mad dash in itself anyway, and it's there to test what you have learnt over the game.
Though I'm sure speedrunners will like to to take a look at it.
I haven't done many time trials, but I WILL, and that PLATINUM TROPHY...WILL.BE.MINE!
EDIT; 1000th post apparently.

Word of honor? I did probably 10 attempts to get the Skull Tooth, in 5 minutes... I didn't see any glitch/problem during the pursuit. I only had to remember the background changes in order to avoid dying stupidly.

10 attempts in 5 minutes? Congrats I suppose?
The glitch is an unforgiving bastard! I kept getting it until I restarted my game entirely..

I wonder if it is related with the consoles' BIOS. My PlayStation 3 model is probably the most recent of everyone in the forum who owns the console, and it has got the 4.0 firmware. It can be from this, or it can be also related to defective game copies. I have no idea, to be honest.

Yeah that's what I had when playing it too. I really like this world.

Try an hour!

First I couldn't get past the falling blocks with spikes on them and then I got stuck trying to wall-jump that final part - the screen kept catching up with me. No idea how I actually managed to get it in the end.

You might want to try attacking whilst in the water. That speeds you up. Also, attacking while sprinting is actually faster than the sprint itself. Quite a neat trick to shave off some time in those trials.
Lol at how we got 300 pages filled before Origins' release and that now it's been here for a short two to three weeks we're already halfway 600.

Yeah the spin move really came in handy in some places as well as the ground pound etc.
Also if you're referring to Swimming with Stars, those stringy arm creatures hate the light so swimming with those lights creatures right up to them should help.

i actually hate the spin move underwater. It makes you go to another direction, than you intended. (usually)

I tend not to use the spin attack underwater, it makes me lost control, which, given the precision needed in some places, is the last thing I need.
I usually spin on land only before a jump, because it somehow allows you to jump further.

Actually I used those tricks: spin and crushing downwards to get speed in the Time Trials, but thanks anyway.

I figured this out alone yesterday night.
