Would ^ rather < phrased it as "ah shit, possibly got period pain, < wonders if < is about to bleed all over <'s trackpants (which would explain the emotional reactions to things) but if < did then that would be at least a week earlier than scheduled"? No innuendo there, just blatant for all to see.

< feels that forcing a "<" in every post ruins the flow of conversation too often, and < isn't the only one who only uses "<" where < would naturally use "me" or "I" in conversation

If someone likes to buy < a ticket to London, that'd be great

All that is true, but the You Game was not designed for conversation. It is a game topic that has grown beyond its remit and become host to conversations. While pluses and minuses also has its share of rulebreaking (ie. posts without + or -), this is deemed acceptable by the community in a way that, clearly, has not happened in the You Game. Note that mods step in over single posts that stray out of the '<' formula here.

In short < maintains ^^ is a rebellious rebel trying to make excuses for rebellion

Things change Canbra, it's called progress, you're such a conservative, the you game must evolve to keep up with the changing social climate, or it will die a painful death.

< thinks posts where "I" etc is used instead of "<" should be called out, but exceptions should be made for posts that simply don't end with "< says" etc

Pah - go on Bandanna, dream your dream of some utopian, glorious, conversation-flow-enabling You Game. < will be busy getting on with life right here in the real world.

(< should note < agrees with you in principle, but < can't risk it man <'s got kids to feed)

AAAAND the game aspect of the topic is evident in the way '<' must be shoehorned with as much cleverness and ease as possible into every post.

Great words from a great girl, < says. < thinks you should publish a book with that title. < thinks it'll be a best-seller. Maybe even Mark Zuckerberg will recommend it.

It certainly can inhibit the perceived seriousness of a conversation, but it doesn't at all affect ^'s, <'s or anyone's ability to communicate clearly, emotion aside. < doesn't really see how it ruins the flow of a conversation, unless ^ simply isn't used to seeing '<' or '^', which < doubts.

See that? Easy. The whole point is to use them no matter what, and if it means that ^ will end up using a shitload of You Game insignia, then even better, it's even more badass to read.

Nah it just sometimes doesn't make sense in a sentence

^like this one for example

So you use your smarts and rework the sentence to include '<', like < does. That's the gimmick.

That's the bit < hates, < just wants to talk, not have to think "right, how am I gonna you this shit up"
