Still not at all a 'big announcement' to me, kind of disappointing. :mefiant:

The Americans ALWAYS get with the cool contests of Nintendo, in general.

At least in Europe it was done the 3DS' 3D Photo Contest and giving away prizes for each country, I managed to win the second prize (A Mario 3DS holder statue).

Ah, yes, I recall you sharing this some time ago.
Anyways, seeing as that was one overtly hyped piece of nonsense, let's hope for some more real news, I'm still wondering more about the Gym leaders.

I think Gym Leaders at this point would be too much as they've revealed quite a hefty amount of info as it is.

Oh come on, you guys have MUCH more cooler Club Nintendo prizes, seriously, Club Nintendo here in America really sucks with prizes.

Really? I believe it varies from country to country because I think the offers done by the Portuguese Club Nintendo could be better, and a little more accessible too. The Mr. Game and Watch exclusive DS game is worth 5000 points, and I only have half. ..' The worse is that the points expire if they aren't used, so one day I see that my account lost almost 2000 points.

What I hate about Club Nintendo is that I could not enter my real adress because I have European 3DS so if I registred on Japanese Club Nintendo and put my Japanese Adress, I could not redeem anything because I buy European games, and both European countries where I have my own adress are not in selection on Club Nintendo so I am limited with fake UK adress so I could only trade points for eShop cards that email code.

Here's a Pokemon commercial:

A tad bit corny, but I think it makes its point well.

A bit corny indeed.

Now that I own a 3DS XL, I can play X in its full glory.
...am I the only one here actually getting on day 1?

I truly envy you, Rayfist, I don't own a 3DS, and I'd love to, but there are other things which take priority for my finances.

Y'know, I wouldn't mind it actually, if it weren't for the fact that it doesn't fold, it sounds like a meagre thing, but I can't play with two screen flat, I need to have that tilt.

Aye, that was the only crit I had for the system. It's understandable why they did but not for me.

Speaking of which I need a 3DS myself. :P

I'd love to go for the XL, I'm not as fussed about portability, but the screen size it offers just works with me much better.

I'm still not sure about XL. I have a thing for small gadgets but I hear the XL is much better.

The 3DS screens are similarly sized to the original DSes, which was fine for me, heck, I wasn't even a big fan of the DSi XL, but having played the 3DS and 3DS XL side by side, my preferences were set toward the bigger iteration.

XL has bigger screen and battery. Aside from that, all features are same.

Same thing here (except for the 3DS thing since I already own one).

It was confirmed today that X and Y had some framerate issues with the 3D on in battles using some effects, so they'll be putting some of them in 2D, bummer.

I wonder what's being 2D-ed.
