That's my thought on the subject too. She was the one who properly alerted Homeworld to the Crystal Gems' activity and the one who got close to reactivating Kindergarten - and she's loose on Earth.

Hmm, that's the interesting thing though, we haven't really seen Peridot fighting, it's rather uncertain at present as to what she's capable of when she's not got her Gem tech.

In other news, I think I might be getting interested in Gravity Falls.

Alright, it's won me over. Marathoned through the lot, did skip a few tidbits, but I tend to do that with most cartoons I watch. I'll be following this alongside Wander over Yonder, then.

Also really like the title sequence, very few shows have me not skip it.

The Uncle Grandpa and Steven Universe crossover episode is drawing near and people are still being big pissybabies about it. It's come to a point where I still really want to catch up on SU but at the same time I feel like I should maybe go into hiding from the SU fandom for also being an UG fan. There are LOADS of cartoons on Cartoon Network that I can't stand like the Regular Show and Adventure Time, both of which I did give a chance, but I don't go into their tags on tumblr or whatev just to slag off, yet for some reason people pick on this one (UG) for no reason.

Whole thing reminds me of the SpongeBob VS Invader Zim clashes of the early 2000's, basically. :confus:

Edit: the SU fandom is officially making me sick I am not kidding.

Wait, there was a Spongebob-Invader Zim crossover? Huh, never knew about that.

I don't believe there was no, what I meant by that was that there was a lot of hate for SpongeBob back then possibly because Zim got cancelled after only 2 seasons or so while SpongeBob was still going and there was bitterness, people thought SpongeBob was annoying and all that. I had Zim fans insisting I watch it and then not being impressed when I told them I still preferred SpongeBob over it (I watched about 6 episodes iirc, it just didn't click with me and all of the "LOL DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM PIGS" stuff in it bugged me to hell and back). I got harassed by SpongeBob haters at one point back then for complimenting another SB fan's avatar. I am dead serious.

With Steven Universe and Uncle Grandpa it's different because I gave both shows a chance; I think I was watching SU first and wasn't watching UG until I was on vacation and watching it on CN then - and I liked them. The way SU fans are treating not only UG fans but also actual SU staff without a lick of respect over this crossover is what's making me sick right now - trying to dig out everything to possibly hate about UG and making the SU staff explain it (it was over crossdressing btw, which is VERY common in cartoons old and new).

I don't think I'll fit into the SU fandom anytime soon just because I'm also an UG fan, basically.

I've got to finish watching The Amazing World of Gumball. I also have to start watching Bee and Puppycat (i actually realized only yesterday that the show had already started since quite long ago, shit).

I heard a lot of people speak well of Steven Universe. I'm thinking of watching this too.

... God, too many things to see and do. I'm dying.

Amazing World of Gumball and Regular Show are both things I watch for laughs, not necessarily their overarching plots. I do enjoy them, but I don't follow them avidly like I do Adventure Time, Steven Universe and Gravity Falls.

Yep, I'm just hooked on Gravity Falls and Wander Over Yonder. But it'll be a while before we get any new episodes before those two.

Did anyone happen to watch the premiere of Star vs the Forces of Evil? It's a good show.

I did !

I could watch... 3, 4 episodes I think ? Didn't find anymore than that.
But yeah, even though the plot may not be very impressive for now, i had a good laugh out of Star vs. the Forces of Evil.

I just saw the crossover episode, it wasn't too shabby at all, but I can't say I was completely engaged by it, it seemed more toward UG in its style of humour, which isn't to my taste.

See that's fair enough. That's like how the Regular show, Clarence, Friendship is Magic etc are not my thing. What bothers me the most is how vocal everyone is about this ONE cartoon and no others, and then twisting it to be the worst thing that's ever happened to Cartoon Network (and you know, not Johnny Test which actually is a bad cartoon with all its overused whip crack SFX glory).

Honestly don't know what is wrong with people these days.

Meanwhile Over the Garden Wall is FINALLY due to be on UK TV soon, and I've got an ep of Star VS the Forces of Evil (which also only just started here) on my sky box so there are those to check out.
