Okay, I think I got a bit lost here, but as for the whole "Mr Dark and the Magician being in the same place in Rayman Junior" thing, I'm just going to refuse to believe that the Magician in Rayman 1 and the Magician in Rayman Origins are the same character.

There is none, story wise. You know how in Rayman 2, nearly every character but Rayman has limbs? I think the team just wanted to follow that path of canonity. And since giving all those characters from Rayman 1 limbs wouldn't make any sense (to me anyway), they gave them a species change. Namely species that do have limbs. Except for Betilla and Moskito, they'd do just fine with limbs without a complete makeover.

And explained in the Origins manual, Rayman is the (only?) character who was accidentally born without. At least for as much as we know, the nymphs didn't mess up again after that, if they tried it again. Well, maybe that woman without torso and head.

I can only assume at this point that the team wants us to know that Magician's now been a teensy all along. I have no problem accepting that, myself. But yeah, you know, I never really sat down and gave Rayman 1 a good playthrough.
