Recently was diagnosed earlier this year as having ADHD from my psychiatrist. Yeah, that’s enough said.

I don't think I have any neurological disorders. Sure, I can get distracted easily in meetings and presentations but it's probably more a trait of character than anything else.

Only ADHD, but it was thrown out because it would be "Harder to find a school"

That’s pretty stupid, I think it would’ve helped with your leaning a lot if you knew

I've never been diagnosed, but if I do really have something, it musn't be something serious, so I'll pick the first option.
I don't know if anxiety can be included here, as I think it is something that can be experienced by both neurotypical and neurodivergent people...

I suppose anxiety is a condition you gain from experience rather than being born with, same with PTSD

Oh yes, like brij
Would say I could fall on autistic scale too, but perhaps that might be too broad of me to say?

Searched it up and couldn’t find anything. What is this mystical “brij” you speak of?

I am dyslexic. Since elementary school, I've always had trouble doing my homework. It didn't matter how many times I read the books; I still couldn't understand.
My dad thought I was just lazy while my mom noticed that something was wrong with me, she got me tested and.. she was right because I was diagnosed with dyslexia lol.
And thanks to this I had advantages in exams at school such as extra time or fewer exercises to do and that helped me a lot, sometimes I also took advantage of this
I don't have problems with reading, I can read as fast as you want but the problem is understanding what I am reading, especially if the text is long, in fact I don't like receiving very long messages, not because I am lazy (because I am not) but it requires more energy and time to understand than a normal person.
My dyslexia also leads to other problems than doing homework, I also have issues with understanding what people are saying for example I always struggled to listen to songs, for it is very hard to understand what the singer is saying in a song unless I read the lyrics.. that's why I prefer instrumental music lol.
I might be terrible at comprehending text and speech but I have a better photographic memory and intelligence than a normal person, this explains why since I was little I have been particularly good at drawing and I can notice some details that others can't

People might think I am stupid but actually it is not true and it is just my brain that works differently

It started when I
alluded to what is actually a
serious spelling reform proposal, albeit one that hasn't got any traction among non-linguists (or even linguists) that I know of. But Jonster and Steo found it so hilarious that it turned into a meme
I actually went with the second option because I've seen some descriptions of ASD that resonate with me. At one stage last year, when I was thinking about those descriptions, I even started a sentence over lunchtime conversation with "Maybe I'm slightly autistic but…" and one of my colleagues interrupted me and said "You definitely are!"

But then maybe I have it all wrong!

• XBox
• X-Box
• X Box
• xBOX
• Microsoft thingy
• ExBox
