Magician, Lividstone, Bégoniax (if you count a cauldron as a hat

)

Chenille is the official name.
---
OK three characters:
1) The Salesman (even though he really is a cameo from another game, he did star as the main plot device for Razor to lure Rayman to the Prison ship);
2) The Magician (Rayman 1, not Origins);
3) Razorbeard - for example, in one of his intro-animations, he appears completely from the hat; in effect, for a while, his eyes are hidden by it.
Tough one! I like the variety in these questions a lot.

And now, a riddle.
Q10: I am round and spiky. I like bouncing and give you a lot of trouble. Who am I?

You are a Spiky Fruit and you live in Moskito's Nest

I think you're one of those spiky fish-like things that bounce/float up and down in the forest areas of Rayman 3 GBA.

No it wasn't. I'm not saying I was more right, as I kind of forced an answer there with Razorbeard, but Lividstones don't hide their eyes in their hats. They have holes in their hats through which they look - otherwise I would have said Lividstones, naturally.
Not that I don't want you to have the point, Dec, but if you give us a question, the answer should make sense.
The only round and spiky thing I can think of that hasn't been mentioned already, is a Darktoon.

I do agree with you, Shroob. However, I thought that maybe Boomboleros was deliberately aiming for Lividstones with his question, but that his English didn't end up expressing that clearly. So I decided to take the gamble, more prepared for my answer to be wrong than right.

Oh yes, the holes in their hat, I have forgot them! Their eyes are never completely hide.

Oh! Decidetto, I'm sorry about that...

Three Hoodlums:
1) André
2) Stumbleboom
3) Spinneroo

It's alright Shroob, my answer was wrong anyway.

Does Andre really count as a Hoodlum? I'll say Lavicraft, Stumbleboom and Spinneroo.

Heh, I noticed just as I posted it that it'd indeed be incorrect. Good job, Xe.

Sanctuary of Stone and Fire.

Ooohhhaha those things. Yes, the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire. Good job, Master. I laughed for a bit when I first read that, imagining the scores of Pirates finding themselves lost in that place... we should have encountered a ton of husks of old Pirates in that level - that would've been a nice scenic addition.

Ah, well. Missed opportunities.
Though it's a nice way to point out that there is more to this level than one would initially assume, this level was particular nightmare for me when I played the PC version the first time, given the extreme differences between the PC and PS1 (my first) versions of this level.
I remember there being something similar written in the Sanctuary of Water and Ice, something like:
"Free dumping for whoever opens the door" or something to that effect;

Yes, exactly. The Pirates seem to have a rather schoolboy-ish attitude to the environment around them. "Meh, you know, if you can figure it out, this place is yours to do with what you want. Go right ahead. Knock yourself out."
Fools! They could have gotten to one of the Masks and prevented Ray from getting anywhere near the Buccaneer, had they only tried.

Amazing what the robot pirates could have done if they applied correct usage of their processors, alas, they were doomed to wallow within their own incompetence.

Or rather, the Admiral was doomed to wallow in his army's incompetence. He didn't skimp on making that clear, either.
