This is without counting the sales in Japan. I guess the '50.000 copies in 3 weeks' thing was only in the US, and only for one console.
Not bad!

It’s not? The game doesn’t even seem to have reached the top forty, for any week or any platform.

Rayman Origins does not deserve low sellings.

I agree. It was a stupid move by Ubisoft to release this game in the same month as the most anticipated titles of the year (and on the same day as their new
Assassin's Creed game). They should have released it a month later, then it might have done better. But I think another reason it's selling badly is because Rayman isn't as popular in the US as he is in the UK or France (plus, most Americans these days only know of Rayman as "the weird guy from
Raving Rabbids").

Agreed.
I don't know if it's been mentioned, but the Island for Jibberish Jungle and Ticklish Temples looks alot like the Isle that R2 took place on:

Another possibility is that the seven islands seen in the bottom-left corner of the Rayman 2 map are actually the islands from Rayman Origins. And another is that the Glade itself split apart into multiple islands when the world began to disintegrate as a result of the Electoons’ imprisonment.
I really wish we could find a copy of the map that was on the old Rayman 3 site.

50,000 sales in three weeks is not very good at all, it's rather depressing actually, especially for the amount of effort that was put into the game.

I have voted.
So, in my opinion, this is the best game in the series. The gameplay is darn smooth and wonderful, it's fun to play and it's one of the only games where I die lots of times that doesn't make me frustrated but wanting to iprove myself.
So far, the Desert of Didgeridoos (in the game it's 'Dijiridoos') might be my favorite world. The Moskito levels are genius, the characters are beautiful, and I go pretty shocked when the game began and Rayman made a pose in the cage. I never suspected it would be actually THIS smooth. It's wonderful, again.
I expected that I will only play as the Teensies, but actually every character is great to play.
That is all. For now.

I loved the game to bits and all, but in my opinion a game with a clearer objective and a somewhat progressive story that makes sense will always improve upon it. Nonetheless, it's still a fantastic game. It was some of the most fun I've had in a while.
I did not like the Moskito levels however, they frustrated me to bits, most likely because I'm trying to get 350+ lums on them by myself.

I thought a kind of nationality wasn't an important matter.
