Hmm? The plural is 'fish'?

Yeah, indeed, it is. Thank you. :P

I wasn't expecting it to win in that category, since it was being overlooked by many other game's soundtracks, but a good win nonetheless.
I like how they show the variety of different tracks and even explain themselves on it.
Uuuh nice!

I really don't see what's wrong with most if not all of Origin's music, if anything it's one of the better soundtracks in the entire series. Some of the other game music was decent, but then you get the duds like Razorwife's theme and much of Hoodlum's Revenge's music for example.

The Land of the Livid Dead music for example is fucking beautiful. :')

My favourite Origins tracks are probably:
Steampunk Suspense
Chasing A Dream
Panic at the Port
Dragon Chef

Hoodlum's Recenge's music wasn't bad. True, it wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad either. It was better than the music of Origins, I'd say. :P

RHR's soundtrack is nothing more than a limited selection of recycled musics and others with its own style of music.

I agree with Stace, RO is one of the best soundtracks of Rayman's games.

Indeed, it's recycled and all, but that doesn't mean it's not nice. Oh well, this is subjective (and as such, not really argueable) anyway. :P

I agree with the last part but RHR's music and Razorwife's theme were actually better than RO's music in my opinion. I tend to like music with a melody that gets stuck in my head. Rayman Origins never did that for me (except with "Chasing a Dream" from TLotLD), so in my opinion, the soundtrack is a bit meh. It fits/defines the mood of the game though, and I'm sure I'd like the soundtrack a lot better if Christophe Héral hadn't been forced to compose music that fits the game's "crazy" mood.

Yeah, sadly he left our forum 5 days ago.
In all seriousness, he's a French admin.

:boon:

How could you possibly choose this topic for posting such a stupid question ? Moreover you could have found out yourself without even having to ask...

I can't believe it- I couldn't find anyone who had made this connection. If any of you are TRUE Rayman fans, you've probably played Tonic Trouble. If you've played Tonic Trouble, you would know what Glacier Cocktail is. And if you knew what Glacier Cocktail was, you would make an obvious connection to the 3rd world in Rayman Origins.

For all of you who don't know, YouTube "tonic trouble glacier cocktail".

Why on Earth would you post this here? This could not be a worse place or time to do so.

NOTE - Not all TRUE Rayman fans have played Tonic Trouble, or Beyond Good And Evil for that matter.
I know what Tonic Trouble is, though I have never played it before, and how does one piece of pretty much USELESS trivia define the genuineness of a Rayman fan?
Or for that fact, what other games we play.

Indeed. In fact, I hadn't played Tonic Trouble until about a month ago. Was I a Rayman fan all my life? I most certainly was. I haven't played Beyond Good and Evil though.

I personally think Gourmand Land would be much more fitting for the name "Glacier Cocktail" than Tonic Trouble's area.

Welcome. You may not know but that's what we first noticed about the Ice world and nicknamed it so. I hope you enjoy our lovely forum. Have a nice day.

Both this level and the one seen in the trailer have water, ice and floating orange slices. I REALLY hope they did that on purpose, that's my favorite level!
As already noted in June :P

I pointed out the resemblance five days before him, so iambored is just a hypocrite and not a real Rayman fan.
