I do know for a fact he's in the XBox version, however. :D Battle mode.

Then lets me explain for you above...

The PS2 version is a straight port.

The PC version is a straight port with LAN added.

The GC and XBox versions are almost entirely different games, including a different health and weapon system. Everyone starts with an infinite amount of rubber bullet rounds (no slapping), and every time you hit someone, you gain a health point. :\ I also noticed that a few glitches were fixed... such as some of the invisible ledges and things.
Oh, well, it is p0oOr... I really hate rubber bullets.

It's a shame that Dark Rayman is only in a console version, we don't even have a TV photo of him

Yeah, and believe me.. I've waded through my share of XBox sites trying to find a screenshot.

Well, it still has all the other weapons too. You just start right off with the rubber bullets instead of being empty-handed... and when you take away a hit point, that's a hit point you gain.

I finally got round to ripping my Rayman Rush footage, though I'm gonna have to deal with the mpg file at home because this computer is so slow and full of junk it's terrible and the mouse seems to be buggered. :/

A freeware MPG to AVI converter, if you please?

You should look at Open video converter. It can convert a lot of video file type's in to AVI ^^. You can try it for free.

I just tried that but it's shareware and only lets you convert a minute of it. Thanks anyway.

Take a look at this. It's shareware, you can use it for 15 days. But i think the trial doesn't have limitation's and can convert *.mpg files that are longer then one minute. I hope this is a help ^^.

Yeah, exactly...

Which right off eliminates a lot of the glitches and loopholes I found in the maps. :( XD

Sorry, but... MPG is proprietary format. :pfff:

My grandad uses Pinnacle Studio 10 and a really old VCR to rip his own tapes, and for some reason you can't rip them into AVI files, so I have to convert them to AVI myself.

The raw rip file is almost an hour long and is 2GB, I've give this Blaze programme a whirl, thanks!

Josh, thanks for all your help but I finally found a solution - virtualdub with an added MPEG2 plugin, and it works brilliantly. I'm converting the tape now and the videos should be up by the end of Thursday provided I have the time [got a temporary gallery move to do yet for my Duckula site].

I could probably upload one or two vids by the end of tonight actually. Only thing is that like the Rayman junior videos they'll be in shit quality due to VHS rip. [I could have actually used ePSXe to record videos but it's a bit late now].

Edit: New playlist here.

Strange, i thought it was a strait port, it seems like a total different spin-off game. I'm going to download it soon and take a look ^^.

The PS1 isn't powerful enough to have a straight port of Rayman M, hence the graphics etc. Also the controls are so sluggish [that, and the fact that I haven't played it in 6 years should explain why I was playing it so badly], and man the other characters are ugly. You don't wanna see Tily close up in this.

Yeah, that one was quite funny ^^.

Anyway, Rayman Rush doesn't look that bad, only it needs better background scenery.
